I wouldn't worry much about cooling issues based on the driving style you described. I've hit limp mode in my tech pack on the street a few times but that was after 2-3 hours of spirited driving through canyons with different groups. Casually driving around town/highway I've never had limp mode...
I don't know if I'll put together a professional highlight reel haha but I'm definitely going to try and get some good footage to post on here following the track day
cjgt350 Really appreciate all of the highly detailed information in each of your posts! It's been fun watching this build thread and I've learned quite a bit about our cars. I'll be following suit in similar ways pretty soon so thank you
That's promising, thanks for the heads up! I'll likely be switching to the 315 rear (to test it out) if they make that size. I'm currently running PS4S 305/30/19 and 325/30/19 and the setup feels good but so far I prefer a square setup the best
Looking good man! And welcome to the 6g forums
I got a little bit of a head start but I'm sure you've got some plans in the works haha. Looking forward to seeing the progression of your build :ford:
Hahaha reading that reminds me of Jason Cammisa saying "Good lord! Damn!" towards the end of the GT350R/Z28 Head 2 Head MotorTrend video
Appreciate that Jason! I signed up for the MuscleKingz show but I may not make it out this weekend. I'll keep you posted though.
Looking forward...
Haha I'm back! You ask and you shall receive
Faith Marone is a model and avid car enthusiast who was in town a few months ago. 50Deep was the one who told me who she was but unfortunately he wasn't in town the same weekend. So I had to book a photo shoot solo
Next time we'll get...
Hey everyone, I know it's been a little while since I've updated my story/build thread but I'm back! Over the last few month's I've added some new mods to the car. I posted some preview photos of what was to be added to the car back in March. So now let's talk about these mods:
MGW GT350...
AGGT350 Yes, I'll be getting my springs put on by CPR (now known as LionBuilt Motorsports) probably next weekend. I'm hoping my springs come in tonight but I think they'll probably arrive early next week.
I'll ask them about installation pricing and can PM you the information that I receive...
I think the kit is definitely creative and interesting but not for me. From the photos, it's hard to determine the carbon fiber quality and the kit is also listed at $16,000 :eyebulge:
Finally got the next round of mods purchased and ready to be installed on the car over the next few days! Here's a little sneak peek - see if you can figure out what will be done to the interior haha
Hahaha right! Everyone in the community is influenced by somebody and the modding just never stops or may take long pauses in between lol
I keep reading the various build threads on here and my list continues to grow and grow
I was looking at aftermarket spoilers for my car a few months ago and I've pretty much seen all of the 350R cf spoilers in person, except for the Carbon2Carbon one.
If you don't want to deal with vibration issues I would only buy from Anderson Composites, Trufiber or Carbon2Carbon...
Whoops, just saw this post now! :headbonk:
Hahaha thank you for the fabulotastic compliment! My dad hasn't bought himself a Shelby yet. After his 98 Cobra, he got into buying more family/luxury oriented vehicles so we went through a few cars from Ford (Explorer), Lincoln (Navigator) and...
The APR front splitter doesn't look bad but might not be for everyone on this particular car. http://aprperformance.com/2015_mustang-front-aero/
Welcome to the forums and good looking car man!
