Welcome from the other side of the pond (UK).
Great forum here IME.
Love the colour of your car! I have a carbonized grey GT and think grey really looks good and ages well on the S550 body lines.

Nice ride Sir! They are a sickness, no doubt. 5+ years out of production and becoming a classic as we speak.
Welcome to the party, pal.

Agreed. I’ve made a few great friends on forum who became off forum friends as we all moved onto new models.

Also, us original owners took pride is discovering the ins and outs of these cars. Even though the cars have aged and most issues have been discussed to death, new owners want to re-explore the same issues so they can be a part of the conversation. I can’t fault them for it. They just want the community and participation we had when the car was new.
just wanted to try a 350. Read over the massive content here. Just sold my Ruby red 14 gt500. Missed it so went and purchased another mustang

Welcome, you know Mustang ownership can become an obsession. I, myself, am on my 5th one through out the years. Once the horse kicks you in the rear you're hooked for life. Love the color of your car. I don't see many my way in that color. Really stands out. Good luck with it and happy motoring.

Welcome to the forum! I'm still a somewhat newbie here too but this is a great place to learn about the best Mustangs Ford made! Leadfoot grey is an awesome color! Reminds me of the old lady I saw driving a leadfoot R model in a shopping center!

The more of this grey I see, the more I think Ford missed a trick and should have done the mach1 in this colour with the FJG striping (orange accents). That would look awesome!

Feels like overall activity has slowed, or at least the types of threads that generate lots of discussion. I suppose it’s fairly normal for a generation of car that is no longer in production and for a model like the GT350, it’s been 5 years since the program ended. Still a lot of great people around (yourself included) but also several that have moved on.

I haven’t logged in to 7G in quite a while, I’m curious if it’s as active there now as 6G was back in the middle of the S550 production run
Funny you mention this; I was recently thinking the same that activity has seemed to have slowed down here and I attributed it to this generation of Mustang slowly aging out and maybe the interest as a result has waned, people don't own this gen of Mustang anymore because they've sold it etc.... Jeez, is it possible that one day I will log onto this forum, and nobody will be here? 😮 I'll have to buy a Mustang Mach E and go to their forum and watch folks discuss battery charging times ...... 🤮

In any case, welcome to the new member and enjoy your car!

The hottest thread over there right now is a 10 page thread on climate change in the general forum....not even off topic......Im not joking.....

I think the interior screens got everyone confused like they bought a Tesla.......

I just popped over there for the heck of it and saw a thread titled "which cluster theme is most popular." Cluster? Hmmm.... Appropriate. So, I left that forum, came back here, sat down, and poured myself a couple of fingers of bourbon. Much better now.
