Hello,

I just registered and it's my first time posting. I've been lurking around for about three weeks now since I got my new baby. You guys are awesome and very helpful.

I am first time mustang owner and the proud and happy owner of a 2016 Shelby GT350 tech pack in Avalanche Gray. I got her used. Previous owner only had her for 4 months. I was so stunned the dealership had one used. I wasn't in the market for a Shelby that day and honestly though it was far beyond my reach. Long story short, I could not let the opportunity to own my dream car pass up. Even though it's a stretch the numbers worked, so here she is.

I'll probably be the only guy you see with car seats in a Shelby. If you around San Diego and see a gray Shelby with two car seats it's probably me :)

I hope you guys don't mind if I ask a couple of questions right away:

1. I bought a Ford oil can separator, driver side and installed it. I've seen from another forum that your supposed to by two of them. One for each side. Is that true? Can I get away with just the driver side?

2. I've read a lot about the GTs needing a new clutch spring because there's some weirdness with the pedal. I'm actually okay with the stock pedal feel. Just wondering if anyone has done a mod to their clutch spring to make the pedal feel better. Is it worth it?

Much appreciated. Thank you very much.

For ~$25 shipped, I don't think you can go wrong with doing the clutch spring. I'm fine with the stock pedal feel, so I rather leave well enough alone.

The passenger side oil separator is the more vital one. During street driving conditions, you'll get oil in the passenger side, and not the driver side. Driver side will be needed if you track your car. There's already a few members here who have the drivers side, only for it to be bone dry.

I only went with the passenger side, the PCV tube was already slick with oil.
