New member, first Mustang, first post...

Greetings from Atlanta! I just became the proud owner of an OW/Saddle GT PP 6MT, and in the limited miles I've put on her, have fallen in love. I'm not very patient, so I chose to search for a car instead of ordering. I got lucky in two ways... I spotted a Mustang with the right options the day the dealer put it on the interwebs and when I called the dealer to tell them I was on my way, my salesman pulled the keys for the car immediately. That was lucky because by the time I got to the dealership, there were 3 other people waiting to buy it :eyebulge:

My previous two vehicles were both Lexus's... a supercharged 2000 that I still have, and a 2008 that I traded in on the Mustang. I was a little leery that the Mustang wouldn't live up to either Lexus in the comfort & convenience department, but with each new thing I learn about the S550, I grow more impressed... Ford has done a great job with this vehicle! In fact, I'm also thinking about replacing my wifes 10 yr old MDX with an Explorer. :ford:

Anyways... I'll post some pix when the sun comes back out. I hope everyone has a great Holiday season and now it's time to let the modding begin

Congrats on your new Mustang! Like Dr. Ding said, they are not perfect but by far the best Mustang I have ever owned. Go ahead and open your wallet because mods are coming.

I am digging on mine too, also my first Ford/Mustang (kind of the first one I've really considered), and funny enough, I'm an ex-S2K owner as well (there's actually a small contingent of S2K > S550 folks on here).

Congrats, but remember that Ford service is not Lexus service. If that's important to you, you might want to reconsider going all in with Ford. I love the Mustang, but the initial quality and service have left a lot to be desired.

yeah sound gets to have a hot wet christmas... strange winter! I'll take the 82 degree christmas eve we're going to have here and 79 christmas day though!
