I had never owned a Mustang before, and ordered the PP2 based on reviews and owners' feedback (a first!) --there was no PP2 available for me to test drive; I did test drive a PP1, the first Mustang with me on the wheel. I (barely) drove the PP2 for 8 blocks when it arrived, and could not be happier. Love it. Thanks to all Mustang family members for sharing and making choices like mine possible. What a great machine.

Here are some pictures from the guys at Akins Ford (where I purchased it, they are also doing the upgrades).

Vehicle:
  • GT base PP2
  • Recaro cloth
  • Active exhaust
  • Enhanced security package
Vehicle timeline:
  • Configured - Dec 2018, configuration submitted to dealer
  • Order finalized - 1st week Jan 2019
  • Vehicle arrived at dealer - last week of April 2019
Modifications (Mechanic):
  • Roush Supercharger
  • Oil pump gears
  • Crank sprocket
  • Oil separator
  • Half shafts
  • Michelin Pilot Super Sport 295/35R19 front, 305/35R19 rear
I will be selling the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s, 305/30R15, PM me if interested . They have 15 miles

Modifications (Cosmetic):
  • Ford Performance sills
  • Gloss black rear panel (solid)
  • Black shift knob
I did not know that they needed to drop the engine (!) to install the oil pump gears.

Will post more pictures and share feedback.

Happy to join the family!

Very nice - I'm thinking of a dealer installed Roush as well. Your install looks intense with the engine removal - looks more than the 1500.00 or so install price I've seen quoted.

Thank you. Yes; I did not know that there were going to drop the engine —neither Lebanon Ford, from whom I first quoted, nor the videos that I had seen suggested so. Akins gave me a lump sum cost for all the labor unlike Lebanon who broke it down, so I couldn’t compare individually. Total labor hours for the supercharger alone are ~12-18, from what I understood.

Yes, Akins is great —first time using their services to install mods, though.

I will post more pics and add a review when I get it back to properly answer the question. Stay tuned :)

Great setup!

How much was the OPG install? I was thinking of having it done at some point as preventative maintenance.
Thank you, Sir :)

They gave me a lump sum price for all the mods; I will inquire about OPG alone. BTW, the OPG install seems to have been what needed the engine dropped.

Nice upgrades. Why did you change the tires out, not looking to track the car?

Thanks.
It's probably easier than removing all the stuff you need to to get to it in the vehicle.
