The ALL NEW Lethal Performance Launch Controller for all Ford Vehicles from 2011-2020 (with an automatic transmission) is here!

Looking for better, more consistent launches out of your vehicle? Look no further. This minimal wiring Plug and Play assembly is ready to plug in to your vehicles OEM brake pedal harness. Once installed, you can set your car to hold the RPM’s at where ever you choose, allowing your suspension to load,
THIS IS NOT A TRANS BRAKE!
While both a trans brake and the Launch Controller both help a vehicle leave faster off the line and help build boost in a supercharged or turbocharged applications, the benefit of this over a trans brake is the simplicity, ease of install, and keeping the drivetrain engaged, allowing the suspension to set before the car leaves, shortening your 60ft, 0-60 MPH, and of course 1/4 Mile times.
All done with the flick of a switch!
Whether you have tune-only daily driver or full bolt on, purpose built race car, this can and WILL work for you. With the simple flip of switch and the push of a button, you can turn your car into a dig racing animal!
  • No ECM reflashing
  • Factory style hookups
  • Master kill switch hardwired into the system for street driving
More responsive launch with easier RPM adjustment

  1. Press the brake pedal
  2. Press the momentary switch and brake pedal release switch
  3. Hold throttle down
  4. Sidestep the brake pedal
  5. Away you go!

Is this the same launch controller kit - with the addition of the kill switch - that Suncoast offered six or so months ago before discontinuing it?

Yes, it is. The only difference would be the kill switch that was added on for precaution to ensure the user doesn’t activate it by accident.

Let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

Thanks!

Thank you for the response - had issues with it in my '17 A/T that were duplicated - and couldn't be resolved - by Suncoast. Hope they have it fixed with this iteration - definitely a great idea!

Not really understanding this.

How do you defeat the converter stall?

How does it keep from pushing through the lights, say I want a 3500 RPM launch?

Really seems to me nothing other than foot braking.

Can you explain how it works?

If you have a stock converter, you are limited to what RPM you can set the launch at before it spins the tires. It is essentially footbraking, except the device holds the RPM for you until you drop the brake. It will consistently hold whatever RPM you select for unlimited launches unless you decide to change it with the dial.

It’s designed to help the driver, where once they have figured out the perfect RPM to launch at where the car is happy, so to say, they do not have to sit there at the Tree and and manually rev up the car and hope they hit the right RPM before it’s go time!

OK, it holds the RPM even with the accelerator pedal floored.

Would this be legal in "no box" racing?
