LOL, I knew by leaving a very ambiguous post people would assume we will know in 1 week. What I meant was...it's been 1 week since 4/17/15, WTF?!

awesome! May 1st! Thank you!
I'm not sure what you are are talking about is going to happen in (1 week) But I just talked to my source tonight, and he said he is going to have news on the potential 2015 GT350 for me Tuesday afternoon or Wed morning. My friends contact at FORD is meeting then, to determent the practicality and near future prospects of a 2015 GT350...He now is saying that he believes they are NOT going to have a 2015 GT350, but will tell me on the above mention date/s. I will let you know the second I hear the news...remember I'm just a parrot, :eyebulge: telling it like, and as soon as I hear it. (of course from what I believe is a credible source) sorry for looks like a false alarm on the first news...

On May 1st...

Iron Man in the Hulk-Buster suit with a Chevy logo on it takes on a Mustang GT350 being driven by the Hulk and gets his ass kicked.

If anything comes out (at any time) my guess would be a tuesday or Thursday at 11am CST...I say that because it seems those are the days and times of the week ford puts stuff on media.ford.com

For what it's worth, I just got back from a dealer with my dad. We were talking to the salesman about the Shelby. So he showed us all of the ordering options. Under the drop down menu it showed a few body codes, P8J being the Shelby, and I could have sworn I saw "Anniversary" next to P8J. The 50th anniversary GT was P8R.

Now take this with a grain of salt. I only got a quick glance. I mean, next to P8J it was still showing "GT500" which is obviously wrong. But it showed 900A, which is the regular GT350 and 920 which is the R.

It could have been anything. So just try not to get to excited over this! But I found it interesting.

Ford announces "Global Performance Specs" in the UK on the 27th. I'm not sure what that entails though...

You can wish for some kind of special edition 2015 GT350 but it is not going to happen.

You are most likely correct...but what do you base such confidence on? Gut feeling or facts? just curious...

Order banks say other wise.....guess it will be interesting to see which one is true. My money is on the "there will be a 2015 GT350".

I like the idea of the 50th GT 350......Buts the mechanics of it just don't work with the 16 banks opening may 11th. I can't see Ford putting anything like this together under this time line. They just don't work that way......Of course I could be wrong

What will Ford do? They have told Dealers that if you want the GT350 you need pay a fee in which will allot them at least one car each year. If Ford would make the 2015 GT350 how do they give some dealers who have paid the fee a 15 and yet tell others who paid the same fee you have to wait till MY 16? Do they make enough 15 GT350 for every dealer that purchased into the allotment, all while making them along with the 2016 MY mustang and 16 GT350?

The dynamics to pull that off would be a nightmare imo, since they missed the 2015 MY build period.

Logic would say otherwise. 2016 order banks open in a few weeks, everyone will be jazzed about getting a 2016, the first GT350's will not be delivered until later in the fall or winter. Everyone will be selling 2016's and even previewing 2017's, by then I don't see an "old" 2015 coming in during this time. I could be wrong, we will see.
