New headers questions

I am trying to decide if I should wrap my headers with Titanium Exhaust wrap or ceramic coat them because as we all know the mustang runs hot . I did try and search within the forms but can't seem to find what i was looking for . Plus should I gold tape my starter or just buy a mini tourqe any tips for cooler engine bay Temps would be much appreciated thanks guys

Ceramic won't drop the temp much. You'll need one or another kind of thermal wrap. If your starter is working correctly i wouldn't mess with it.

Just did the install. In the confined engine bay I agree ceramic won’t help a ton. Jet hot maybe bc it is inside and out. as for the starter mine had a heat shield already adhered to it and there is plenty of clearance between my primaries and the starter.

Well the reason I asked about the starter is I seen a video on YouTube stating the stock starter is like 25 pounds and the mini is like 10 and we all know the mustang is a heavy car not as heavy as the dodge kitty cat but i guess every little bit helps

What do you guys think about the gold reflection tape to wrap some high heat items? I wanted to put the tape on the CAI and maybe the overflow tank

I love the gold tape and put it everywhere: How much does it help, hard to tell but if it lowers the radiant heat like it says, then yes.
