Yes. I always look at those and have come close to buying one. However, a real nice example goes for $75+.

It's a beautiful car. Great color combo.

Let your wife know that your Mustang friends feel your mind is totally where it's supposed to be :)
Probably won't help. She knows car guys are somewhat deranged.

I'm just north of you in Adairsville. Mine will be LB with white stripes. We will need to get them together for pics! Congrats on your R.
Definitely will.

Nice car! Ive got a lightning blue white stripes coming too. Did you color in your shelby lettering on the splitter or someone else?
The lettering is a tape that my paint guy did when he tinted the windows. I saw it on another car and thought it looked cool. The other thing that should be down is the GT350 insignia on the side needs to be something other than chrome. Either painted black or red.

Yeah I'm in the same boat over 65 and wife thinks I'm nuts. Nice color and the R is where it's at for sure. I like the red letters on the front spoiler it goes real well with the stripes.
Glad to have another old guy in there with me. The lettering is a tape that my body guy installed. My car list has always been Chevys till being blessed with a great business and the ability to buy a Porsche one day. But you know my real roots go back to the good ole American Muscle.

Gorgeous car! Congrats on the R! :clap2:

I just got my GT350 a week and a half ago and know exactly how you feel. I'm not quite in your league, but I'm north of 40 and my wife's reaction is just like yours! She keeps saying "What are you in high school again?". I loved reading your post, cuz it shows we're not nuts! Or if we are, more power to us!

For the last 25 years I've owned nothing but Porsche, BMW M, Mercedes AMG and Audi. I tend to keep my cars for a long time, I've owned my current 911 for well over 7 years and still love it. I never imagined that any American car would capture my interest. That all changed when Ford first announced the GT350 & later the R. I've been lusting after one ever since.

Now my beloved Porsche sits sadly in a garage, I keep going for the GT350 keys, it's so much fun to drive!

Tell her it's a least not another women. I tell mine a car is still less expensive and certainly less maintenance.

You did notice which car was on the top rack and less accessible.

Outstanding color combination and from one older enthusiast to another it is certainly refreshing to view some of your comments.

I too have had many muscle cars from the '60's and for you and I to be able to drive and experience this new technology at the highest level only makes us appreciate how far Ford and the rest of the automotive world has come. Only have one muscle car left with the '69 1/2 SC/Rambler not going anywhere soon with the rest just a great memory.

Were the L88's and L78's along with the A12 and Hemi cars fast in their day, absolutely but certainly not close to what we are experiencing today based on the complete performance package and bang for the buck.

It is terrific to see that us automotive enthusiasts over 65 years of age still know how to appreciate a vehicle that is in a class of its own.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That TTS is the cutting edge of face melting speed and refinement. Then you got a brute in the 350R. A sledge hammer and a high-powered laser. I'd say you got a nice combo there!
