A little sneak peak at the new ‪#‎BartonIndustries‬ Billet Reverse Pull Adapter for the 15-16 Mustangs.

When you compare this to the factory cheap plastic.. you will question why you even have that. LOL No more glue coming apart and keeping it from going into reverse again! The design has your hand resting easier than the factory piece. You will have to feel it to believe it!

This is a billet piece that sits in the same spot as the factory one with a o-ring to secure it. The stock one is a 2 piece design that is held together by glue. Once they break apart (will keep once part on the shifter and the boot will stay secured to that and the other part can be removed once you take the shift ball off) which has been happening, you cannot engage reverse without grabbing the entire column and I can promise is not easy.

This will be for Barton & the Factory Shifter along with the factory knob

Coming soon and will be available through UPR Products!

Mine came apart last week and I had to use lock tight glue for plastic to get it back together. Ford replaced it under warranty for me and I have since replaced it but will be getting this new piece for sure.

How do you separate the boot from the plastic assembly to install on the billet one though?

Very carefully pulling it apart. Mine came off with no tears. I was able to pull it over the billet one side at a time and stretch it over the entire opening. It will hold in place but you can use a zip tie to secure it.

Ok sounds good. I wasnt happy to say the least when mine broke.... I was like WTF! lol. And when I took the boot assembly apart to see that it was plastic that broke that made it that much better. The lock tight glue held together great for a temp fix till I got the new one in.
