If the 3.5 Ecoboost had the same hp/liter as the 2.3, it would hand 472 hp and 487 torque!!!

I don't see anything wrong with it. It makes more power and torque than the old 3v 5.4 while getting better fuel mileage. That's a win win for me. Not to mention the modding potential
