I figured out what kind of mufflers I have on the car currently and there Borla Attk's...😬
So I was curious if anyone has had any luck or tried putting on universal Silencers.
I like how it sounds now. I wanna avoid making them "Tinny"
Or dont waste the time and just get a new cat-back.

Borla makes a resonator that bolts in to their cat-back that takes them down nicely. Mostly takes out the harsh, high frequencies more proportional than others.

Ive seen them for they s type. Adding a pair would be make it sound good. Thanks for the idea.

+1 on borlas resonator. It's a nice piece if you need to quiet things down and it keeps a solid exhaust note. The only time I wouldn't recommend it is if you need full 3" piping through your whole exhaust. I'm turbo so as good as it sounded it was choking my set up and response time on my turbos suffered so I had to fab something different up.

@Zrussian13 what did you go with for a resonator? I’m between Borla and stainless brothers.

I tried the borla 60661 but I chopped off the 2 1/4" connects and put 2.5" connects on it. It sounded great but didn't flow well enough for turbos so I sold it and put a couple 3" glass pack bullets in line to quiet it down. Worked great and sound still has a bite. The stainless bros option stsrted gaining steam after I finished my set up or I probably would have tried it since it's 3" all the way through but one or two of the guys who bought one had some issues with the welds. I think @Proshop was one of them and I can't remember if there was another guy or I'm just imagining things.

I did have the Stainless Bros 3” muffler as a mid muffler and it sounded great. I did pop the welds on it twice but I think it was due to its placement. It was to far forward and before the x-pipe, had it been after the x and a little further back I think I would have lasted.

I dont plan to boost anytime soon and Its the easiest swap to do as well. So thanks for the feedback. I think this will be the route ill end up taking.
