My favorite thing about electric vehs is that they do not share in the burden of maintaining the roads, streets, highways & bridges. Yeah!

:sarcasm ā˜ for the humor impaired:

Btw OP,
IMPAIRED DRIVER legislation coming in 2026
(disguised as Drunk drivin law, to keep pple from complaining about Big Brother being able to shut your car down)
being mandated by 'The Inflation Reduction Act'.
(
sign into law by all ur fav Congressional representatives)...
They can easily make it so a spirited driver also looks like IMPAIRED (or drunk/drugs) Driver, to an on-board computer- accelerometer.

Or maybe ya just blow real hard towards the camera/microphone on steering whl & it tests ur breathe for ya.

Technology is such a great thing!!
Not paying there share of road taxes is clearly even better for all those EV Sierra Club members - šŸ¤®

Hello; Was in my county clerks office recently. Seems EV owners will be getting a bill much higher than ICE owners. Did not get details but will be a step toward them paying a share of road tax we ICE drivers pay.

Thereā€™s never going to be a complete phase out of gasoline engines ā€¦ try taking away gasoline powered vehicles from the people (more so the Auto Enthusiast Groups, Muscle Car Groups, Sport Car Groups, Motorsports of all kinds, etc etc) as well as trying to put refineries out of business with all this ā€œletā€™s go electric on EVERYTHINGā€ BS ā€”- and the uprising on the steps at the Hill will be a mere pittance to what would happenā€¦.

This whole EV ideology is no ā€œgreenerā€ than the last 100+ years of ICE, thatā€™s fact. No one wants to really think about it - but freaking ā€œEV chargingā€ isnā€™t ā€œmagicā€ and doesnā€™t come out of thin airā€¦. Research what it takes to mine/build a single EV battery and multiply that times ā€œXā€, let alone the miles of copper/wire harnesses needed, the miles of electric motor windings, etc., etc., which takes to make up the ā€œEVā€ā€¦. Then letā€™s discuss the future battery replacement that in some instances is an out of pocket expense that can cost at least 25% of the vehicleā€™s valueā€¦. EVā€™s also get garbage for trafe in value now.

How about this analogy:
I buy a $300 electric weed whacker that has a lithium battery. I use it constantly for 2 years, and am not totally great with proper recharging or discharging, not to mention the unit shows wear/tear and its battery life is now down to 50%. Would you buy my used electric weed whacker for $150 with a battery that has only 50% lifespan remaining? F-NO you would not because a brand new correct type battery is at minimum $70-$100ā€¦.

Dealerships are not going to invest $10k+ to replace a used EV battery pack so they can resell the vehicle, they just wonā€™t and arenā€™t going to do it - itā€™s cost prohibitive to their bottom line, period. So again, who is going to buy a used EV where itā€™s battery life has been diminished?

The push to do all EV is more harmful to the earth from a mining perspective and building ACRES of new battery manufacturing facilities than ICE emissions alone. In fact there were recent studies published that ICE emission levels have not changed all that drastically in many years (as portrayed by greenies). I canā€™t find the dang article but it was written in the last 6 months or so. Not to mention that EV battery recycling on what wouid be a very large scale is just as ā€œdirtyā€ as it is making a batteryā€¦

Besides, cows fart and that right there is a whole hell of a lot of emissions - are the greenies going to eliminate all the cows in the world?

Hello; Never underestimate the ability of alphabet agencies to twist and spin. A classic was when one agency decided bees are fish. I get the purpose and do want bees to be protected. It is the blatant usurping/extension of power they did not have which is bothersome to an extreme.
If bees need protection under law then have the elected officials make a considered law.
A thing is while calling bees fish may be done in the best interest of bees and people, what is to keep these agencies from playing such a word game in order to push an agenda. They have blueprints for such.

no just American beef. Aussie and Brazilia are allowed to keep their herds. Aussie because they are in tight with Chinese, and I mean, they'll start slipping 14" spiders into packages if you screw with them.

To piggy-back on EV-recycle, we can't even do the EASY stuff in an economic fashion, let alone enough of it to remotely keep up. EV batts are NASTY and grossly uneconomic to recycle. What are you gonna do with all the trash? Hell, we don't even recycle deleted nuclear fuel and if you want to talk dire threat to man and beast, it doesn't get any worse. And yet we have the technology, we just refuse to address the problem.

Human beings as a rule refuse to see past their nose. And the more degrees they have the more they are callously STUPID on topics at hand. The multitude of problems with an "EV lifecycle" are being deliberately ignored. A solution is NOT COMPLETE until you've address ALL of it's primary effects let alone the tertiary ones.

I guess if RICO isn't a crime, then neither is 50,000 gallons of water to control (not extinguish) a single EV fire isn't a problem either. Or for that matter 300 cars and a roll-on/off ship sitting at the bottom of the ocean because of a battery pack fire, should not be seen as a warning sign...

It would be smarter to live next to an active volcanic fissure in your wood-stick house and ignore the rumblng ground beneath your feet.

Bingo. Head of the nail has been hit and the most concerning element is when ā€˜theyā€™ make fiction fact and lies become truthā€¦mk1/mod1 Totalitarian playbook tactic.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming and burnout videos!

Exactly, depending on who wins, we either gotta worry or we dont, simple as that
What about private jets that dump over 200k pounds of co2?
Double standard for the globalists b

Do as I say not as I do seems to be the globalist/elitist mantra. Many seem to be fine with it so long as it aligns with their political narrative.

^^^. EXACTLYā€¦.

But these ā€œgreeniesā€ canā€™t grasp the fact that EV isnā€™t magical, itā€™s NOT greener than ICE at allā€¦. Thereā€™s too many avenues that are not being properly pursued or being worked out as far as logistics from lifecycle start to endā€¦. Whatever that ā€œendā€ may be at this stageā€¦

Those of us who donā€™t have blinders on can already see and predict the worldwide failure and desecration to the planet due to this ā€œEV pushā€, that has absolutely NO organized plan. Itā€™s just ā€œletā€™s make EVs, letā€™s change the emissions laws, letā€™s just keep spending and dishing out millions to fund this and that EV project who cares if itā€™s a success or failure, and letā€™s put some $$$ in mah pocketā€ā€¦. Who cares about recycling, who cares about about destruction of the planet..

Side bar:
You know what is so damn hypocritical and hysterical about the whole ā€œgoing greenā€ and EV movement, is all these greenies are supposedly pushing a ā€œgreen agendaā€, but they have no problem flattening, leveling, and bulldozing away blocks/lots (acres) of trees/vegetation to put in more shopping centers, stores, misc. buildings, condo complexes, and now mega EV battery factories - and turning what once was green to GRAYā€¦.

You ever drive around your area and wonder why abandoned buildings or vacant/closed shopping centers canā€™t be repurposed, updated or leveled and build on an existing pad site that is already zoned/cleared for plumbing, gas or electric - instead of right up the road from those locations, you see land being cleared for the same damn thing??

Acres of trees and other vegetation life flattened - which helped us by producing oxygen, was a positive impact to ā€œclimate changeā€, provided a ā€œfilteringā€ mechanism for pollution/environmental fallout, provided shade, kept land intact due to massive root systems, prevented massive water run off, provided blockage from wind/storm damage, provided barriers from excessive noise, and provided necessary covering so lower plant life and wildlife could thrive on the land those trees once stood overā€¦. BUT F-YEA, WEā€™RE GOING GREEN PEOPLE, weā€™re going soooooo damn greeeeenā€¦.

And no, Iā€™m not a tree huggerā€¦ Iā€™m trying to point out the BIG PICTURE where the whole ā€œgo greenā€ and EV movement is furthest from being green by any means. Itā€™s a deceptive front end campaign with BS gas lighting while the back end is busy lining pocketsā€¦
