I am going to wait to get pulled over for questioning about the brightness. When I got my springs homologated the garage said the inspector didn't even look at the sidemarkers (off or on) so no one knows that they are not supposed to be like this unless they are mustang specialists.

Ok so we can't dim the sidemarkers with a DIY solution - though I would try before buying other stuff. Like Nico said, I was more concerned after installing these sidemarkers, but now I am not worried so much.

Did you noticed in that video.. the bad connectors!!

Fun that they also post in this thread but don't reply to our questions.. mmm... great customer service, sure.
Some of their products are cool, some are nice but with a high fault rate (read about switchbacks).. but regarding me, if possible I will never buy anything else from them.

It's not to advertise them, but I never had a problem with their customer service.

Back in time, I ordered the wrong reverse bulb (for the US model), I talked to the customer service and had to send them the wrong back and they sent me the right one for my car without a problem.

I also still have a problem with the LED Boards and also be in touch with the customer service, it took a while before they send me the new drivers but also never had a problem and got all the time answers to my email.

Now I have all the replacement parts and have to wait till I have time to repair my lights.

Nick, I have a lot of patience... but I don't understand why you don't reply to ours complaints about these sidemarkers not being plug'n'play as you said before.

So if I understand it correctly we need two of these devices for the side-markers and level match them for equal brightness on both sides...

I like the look of the clear sidemarkers. Is there a way to just buy the clear glass without the lightning stuff? Over 100€ just for a white sidemarker would be insane :shrug:

Top off the wires and you have your clears, been thinking the same for smokes on black though...

I did a test this evening to pull out the ambers, just to te see if they pop out easily... and I must say you have to reach quite deep to get the reflector out, my arm was quite bruised. Anyway, I'm doubting about the red's or the smoked's...

We were simply not able to provide it that way in the timeframe promised due to problems with the tooling of a connector. We tried to provide a solution that would still allow our EU friends to enjoy LEDs on their sidemarkers. We realize it is not the perfect solution we had originally intended to provide, and we are sincerely sorry for any disappointment.

You could have said that weeks ago, and maybe before shipping - for example when you refunded us 10$ saying that connectors are cheaper than expected (but you didn't say that they are different!)
In my opinion it's not the right system to keep up with your customers.

Oh well, don't want to go OT again and again.. so on topic!

Had to contact DD because of a defect on one of my sidemarkers (driver's side), some LEDs seem to be dead. DD is sending me a new one, great service
