Guys if you want pizza, obviously the next EU meeting should be held down here!!
We have bad government, high taxation, corruption, mafia... but the pizza is the best you could ever try :)

Guys this weekend I was driving in the rain and could see the sidemarkers in shop windows. They look fantastic! But still bright even at day and especially when comparing to the tail lights. I passed near a cop car, they did not say anything so I guess not that tragic, but I wonder if these lights can be dimmed down a bit, maybe with a resistance or something?

Does anyone have an idea?

I have sent a PM to Nick from DD to see what he has to say on this matter.

Hmm, I think our friend "electrical expert" Papinist will find a solution for us  :D

DD is taking a look at it:

Hello Nick,

Thank you for the feedback!

I will speak with our engineering team and see if it's something they can address with an easy modification or something along those lines.

It's a tough balance to choose the right brightness level. If we don't make something bright enough, people tend to complain, if it's too bright, well...that's a tough one lol!

Thanks for the update Nico.
Yes we are thinking about that. Nick is right, finding the right brightness level is not easy. well, better bright than dim, it should be possible to dim it electronically.

I was thinking about something like that

so you can tweak it and get the brightness you want.
But I am not an electronic expert, so someone need to tell us the correct value and if reducing voltage will reduce the brightness or only cause the leds to go off.

I prefer the black ones for the black cars but I'm not sure if we can get away with it here in Belgium for our yearly inspection or Tuning certificate...

not mine, but the belgian mustangs probably yes :D

I was stopped only once from police for a documents check, and they didn't care about the front sequential turning lights, or tribar drl.. so I expect the annual inspection (the first is after 4 years) to be the same :)

Looks at this nice side markers, do you think you'll pass the inspection with that ?
sure!! The only issue will be the wheels: we can't use spacers because the wheel cannot exceed the car body

Or, if you want to use new parts for DRL, i found this, I'm sure Papinist can mod something or adding a switch to cut this for night/inspection ... :first:
well, this requires sunglasses to be driven :D
