My friend has a brand new GT500, he's selling the stock air box, would there be any advantage to installing it in my 2018 Ecoboost? He's asking $150
I can only "ASSUME" that the air box is capable of collecting and moving more (filtered) air than the stock Ecoboost box... You may want to confirm the gained performance!
But (and I'm guessing), I imagine your going to have to do some creative plumbing to connect the GT500 box to your cold air intake. You may want to consider the added cost of time and materials for any needed mods plus the $150 for the box vs the cost of building your own or purchasing an aftermarket CAI...

I'll have about $185 into my DIY system once I complete the "Ram Air" box and a few brackets, etc.
