I am going to try either this or aforementioned soapy water around the nest areas I can find. I may be able to chlorine bomb from under the car if I can cover it well down to the floor to get a seal.
Yeah, I wish I had a better view of where all these spiders could be hiding. Soapy water treatment is going to be my next step if dealership won't help me. I'll put the car in the air as high as I can on jack stands and wash the undercarriage thoroughly. From there, I'll just have to keep an eye out for new webs to help lead me to where they might be. Engine bay is tight and difficult to clean in some of the areas.I would be careful think chlorine is corrosive to metal. Soapy water (car soap) sounds like the best remedy.
I am in South Florida and had some jet ski's in storage and when I brought them home I noticed there were dozens of the brown widows all over the trailer.
They were in reach, so I able to get rid of them all with a flip flop.
Yeah, lingering smell (even though I have leather) is a concern. May just spot treat and look for new webs. Calling my home peat control company is a good call.Tenting your car will leave an awful smell on your interior, esp cloth seats.maybe contact a home insect spray guy.they have odorless spray that attracts and kills roaches, spiders etc.maybe they can spray your whole car.i use Terminix
