Yeah, DRs are needed with that kind of power. I suspect the Pirellis that come on PP cars are better than the all-season Pirellis that I had, though. Even when stock, the all-seasons just spun and hopped like a mad jack rabbit.
Stock power the car was good with the pp Pirellis it did hook up pretty good. Once I had the supercharger on that was over. With the DRs it does pretty good but still spins a little in 1st.

Pirelli P Zero are one the worst performance tires out there. Absolute junk and can be quite dangerous at these power levels. Get rid of those on the rears ASAP and get a Nitto 555R2 or Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S. If you do mostly street driving and some drag strip go with Nitto, if more drag strip and less street go with Mickey Thompson.

No cost to you at all. They are pulling your chain. Contact Roush and explain your situation and they will take care of it.
I spoke to Trevor at Roush. He's calling the Ford Dealer.

That is my experience also with the DRs. It was 90 degrees here yesterday. I lowered the rear pressures to 28lbs and found a long, lonesome road to do some hard pulls. It absolutely still lights them up in 1st, the shift to 2nd was a brief chirp and it was get up and go from thereon.

I run mine as low as 24 or 25 psi they get much better but still not even close to getting any real traction. At the track I run them at 18 psi. I'm still trying to get my launch down right but I have a best of 1.64 60ft.

It sounds like you are getting it down to a science :) I go out to the track but I don't run since I am manual. I am trying for a new best on the 0-60 just to see if I could ever match the numbers Roush advertises lol . I don't know how accurate the timer is in the car and may try a draggy.

Am I reading your posts and your signature correctly? You have a 6 speed manual and you have Drag Radials installed??

IF so - definitely don't hit the track with those. With a manual transmission, you want a bias ply for the rear when using a manual transmission. It lessens the "hit" on the driveline when launching. The softer sidewall gives the driveline some cushion.

The big drivetrain killer is wheel hop and radials are infinitely worse than bias ply tires when it comes to launching.

There are some super fast drag cars running manual transmissions and drag radials - but they are running clutch setups that cost more than a new MT82........and they are strip only.

I agree 100% and have no intentions of breaking an axle on the drag strip trying to run radials. My intention was to put on the Michelin PS4 for the street but they are back-logged way out for the sizes I want.

The draggy is pretty good it was 1/10 slower and 1 mph faster than my track slip. So I assume it is going a little longer than a 1/4 mile. It was right on with the 60 ft times though.

Hello guys, new to the forum, currently inline to take delivery of a 2021 base 10 speed with the Roush stage 2. When I signed the papers last weekend the performance guy said they didnt have the calibration figured out for the 10 speed yet. Sounds like that has come out but im still 3 weeks from delivery. I will post up the dyno sheet as soon as i get it.
Finally a estimated date!!!! dealership said they have me scheduled to begin my install may 24th. Ill be flying to Ohio and driving it back to Charlotte Nc.
