Car has arrived at the dealership. Hopefully they get it ready and I can get it today. I told them to just take out the shipping blocks and install the splitter, I will do the rest. I also asked them not to wash it.

Looks great in Grabber Yellow. What Chassis number is your car?

That is nice and bright. Hopefully you can put it in "stealth" mode to limit attraction from the cops, haha
Congrats

Same with me, good choice on limiting dealership handling.

FYI only CFTP cars come with suspension blocks, so you don't have to worry about them forgetting to take them out.

They would never leave the blocks in a high dollar CFTP car, would they. :frown:

Was just reading through my GT500 book I got from Ford Performance and they mentioned the Track Attack program. I obviously had never heard of it before and can't believe that you would get to do that at "no cost" to owners of the new GT500. Has any owners of 2020 GT500's participated in the school and how did you like it? I have no intention of ever taking my car to a track, but would definitely consider going to Charlotte if Ford is providing the GT500's to drive.

Lots of TA threads here, have a search and enjoy. I don't think I've read anything but compliments and high marks. A few of us went last August and it was a once in a lifetime experience so I highly recommend you consider doing it. Remember, it expires a year from DOP.

Three videos here from the footage and photos in the "Video Option" or whatever they call it, I've forgotten. :-) Definitely get that, too.

You have two alternatives, call your dealer or go with (FP) Ford Performance for an accurate and up to date report.

Here is some contact info for FP. They will be able to help you out.

Make sure you title the e-mail as GT500 Status Check and include the last 8 of your VIN. Example: (M0000001) or if you don't have a VIN, you will need the Order Number and Dealer Code, These will be on the Vehicle Order Confirmation (which you should have received when you placed your order) or the Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement (which you should have received the day after your order was placed.

Here is the contact info.

Just wondering if any of the "new owners" are going to attend the GT500 Track Attack held at Charlotte Motor Speedway. I signed up for the July 15-16 class. So just curious if anybody from the "forum" is attending on those dates? Thanks.
