New 2021 GT500 at Florida dealership

This one is/ was sitting at Schultz Ford in Nanuet, NY last week. Their website says MSRP but the little white sticker on the windshield says +$30k ADM. I asked and sales rep said the dealership owner's friend is buying it (for less then 30k over).

I thought $30k was a bit much in late January deep freeze. But it's better than $50k

Edit: it's actually still on the website. Maybe his buddy bailed.

Good looking but would have been nicer w/white stripes imho, now if it were a 22 in grabber blue then black stripes all the way

I like the uncluttered look but I’m biased. Thought of adding stripes but decided to leave it.

Possibly. My local dealer was willing to do an MSRP deal on a 2020 base when I was shopping for a 21. It didn’t have the options I wanted so I passed lol

Was skipping through the thread here and noted someone posted the Ford CEO's public mention of not allowing dealers to go crazy on ADM charges so what does that translate to when you keep seeing these way over priced listings. I understand it's not just the Mustang's and why he's trying to put this down. The Bronco's are over sold some with ADM as high as a GT500, Maverick production is sold out (think?) and for a starter in the $22K range all I see are $40K and up Mavericks on dealer sites. It would work, limiting allotment if some dealer charging $50 over for a GT500 lost all their Bronco allotment but is that going to happen?

Dealer prices do not have a direct affect on resale value. Most dealers in my area have an ADM on everything. But as soon as you drive it off the lot it’s now depreciated below MSRP.

I agree with your statement, but if you want to sell your GT500( NOW), you're more than likely to get a much higher price than the depreciation it took. You might even get all your money back and some, plus all the fun you had with the car since new!
