negotiating leverage over dealer

I got my best deal from a dealership that connected me with a regular sales guy. all he did was get the price from the sales manager or GM, when negotiating over email they know you are also negotiating with other dealers and one will give you a great price as they know that is the only way to get you in the door. Do not share what other dealers quote as they will match or come under by $100.

I won't post the text but it says " whenever you are close to me my dick goes crazy :* " now if he sent this to a girl I can imagine all hell breaking lose. Like I said before I Dont want to blackmail the poor guy. I would just to take advantage of his mistake. I'm not expeting an almost free car. But from a managers position I'd expect a decent deal on the table.

Don't get hung up on his job title. He's just a salesperson. He should never have texted you period. At least here in CA, it's illegal to solicit business via text messaging.

You won't get any better discount, and frankly if you bring it to his bosses attention, they'll apologize, and likely have a laugh about it afterwards behind closed doors.

Sorry charlie, you've got nothing other than a text message for your memories. Be happy you got a laugh out of your salesperson.

Haha noticed it after I posted. I ment more on the lines of like he messed up on his part so he should be making up for it. Sure its a text I have had several sales people text me regarding cars. Who said I would tell the gm? If I was to complain I'll be going to corporate themselves.

So he sent you a text that was meant for his gf or bf, big deal, the text never says your name? Do you honestly think he was meaning to send it to you when he is trying to sell you a car?

He turned out to be a friend of a friend, my buddy was telling me how he was cheating on his wife with some girl at the dealership. I ended up buying the car from another dealer.
