Seriously who posts someone else's timeslip and tries to pass it as their own? Wow, everything you say and have said in the past has lost all of its credibility. I mean we all talk stories at the pub, and your 12.8 run becomes a 12.6 but posting someone's timeslip to stroke your fantasies is...
Did you misspell intelligent on purpose? :P
Seriously tho, unless I am speaking to a mechanic I know and trust everything I read I take with a grain of salt. It took me having the car for 6 months before I did one thing to it, but once I did that it sort of went through the avalanche. In the...
I think you are talking from the perspective of a person who is fundamentally representing your age group (making an assumption here about your age); not being coy or meaning to demean you in anyway but a 20/30 something wont be selling their performance parts because all of a sudden, 3+ years...
Grats mate, mine will hopefully be around this as well. I dont have a downpipe but rest is same same. Though my 98 Octane goes to 25PSI while 95 octane 23.5-4 odd so not sure what that will mean.
I wont have $200 spare anytime soon for this but confident I shouldnt be too far away. 300HP+...
Mine arrived today, first non US part on my stang and I'm proud its Aussie made :) Cheap as chips as well at $143 AUD ~ 110US.
Just need to get some grease and install it next week and I'm done. Will post up my impressions on the manual. I will use the extra spring :)
I think I'm done with the DV+ (just good to hold more boost on the manual), would love to do more but with two young kids its hard to justify as everything from here gets expensive or makes very little difference.
As for sticking with the EB, I am sure your wallet is thanking you; with the MBRP...
Yeah 100% accel pedal from a standing start or from rolling mid 2nd, but a whopping -6.x. I wasn't actively watching my cobb so only see the numbers after the pull. I see very very few neg corrections at all under normal/spirited driving on the 95 map, just WOT 98 map and as you say it may be...
Its $1200 here to get a dyno tune (~$900 US), and I dont think there is a Cobb tuner where I am on the west coast of Australia so I can get a one off tune and if it gets wiped by the dealer I have to pay more to get it reflashed. As such 98% of the way there is better than 0, and 100x better...
A bit of a zombie thread, I did go with Tune+. Been pretty good results though i have had some very high -ve corrections which I am trying to replicate (unfortunately) to get it adjusted. The -ve corrections were from 1/2/3 pull.
But yeah other than some adjustment needed due to low gear...
Cobb 91 Tune isn't really pushing it much, as long as you have 91+ octane and you are not seeing wild negative corrections you should be right. Been seeing posts buy people here running full bolt on and nice tunes for many miles, so as long as you are not going through coolant it may be...
Does the "smoke" smell sweet? How is your coolant level? If its going down it could be a sign that water is getting into your engine which is not good.. may be a head gasket or worse.
MakStang- looks like there may be some power left with pretty high timing increase... my 93 profile never goes past 2
Nice figures, mine is about there. I have a 93/91/Stock/Eco tune by Tune+, 90% time I run in 91 Octane as I dont trust the fuel here after getting a few larger neg corrections...
