Guys, I normally am in the camp of "do what you want to do with your own car, screw everyone else's opinion" but I honestly cant decide if this is cool or lame.

Since I was a kid, I have loved Hot Wheels. I still buy them every once in awhile and think its just a cool logo. I ran across some OEM badges of the Hot Wheels logo and thought it would be cool to put on my GT Vert.

But then i remember that these were used by Chevy on the 2013 Camaros. I don't want to pose or make it rice....so now not so sure it would be fun to do.

So the feedback I need is not so much if you like them, but are they just a bad idea since it was originally a GM badge? Would anyone even know? what do you think?

I was 8 when HotWheels came out and once in awhile I still buy one if it catches my eye and with that said if done right/ in right place I think it would be kinda neat. HotWheel on starter button for instance would be neat.

Yeah....that's a 2010+ Camaro thing...it's like the "younger" generation bought their childhood with them into adulthood...Transformers, Hot wheels, etc. etc. It used to be hot wheels=kids stuff actual cars=adults the lines are blurring...

So... I think it's really cool...in concept.

I'd suggest looking into a vinyl "stencil" type logo though...maybe in a faded silver or gold? IMO, this would more closely resemble the Hotwheels logos that the toys have had for decades and it wouldn't instantly evoke the 2013 Camaro.

In any case, I think it's a cool idea. I like where your head is at! :)

Didn't know about the hot wheels/Chevy relationship. I'm an OEM appearance kinda guy so next to a giant wing that is probably the last thing I would slap on my car.

Absolutely not. I'd put that in line with having a transformer emblem on your car.

I'm gonna go with a big no unless it is a ridiculously over the top gawdy build. Giant wheels and tires, monster blower sticking out of the hood, and some sort of side pipe.
