Hello,

I am new to this site, and also a new Mustang owner. I have a base model 2016 Mustang GT. I am looking to put black wheels on it, but I am not sure of the factors that go into it. Such as weight? Size? What will fit on a base model without any additional work?

Currently I am running 18" rims, but would like to go to 19"s. What do you guys prefer for width? Also, are 19's able to run on the base model GT?

Also, I am looking for a cheaper set, and would prefer the OEM rims. They are just pretty expensive aftermarket. Will the OEM caps fit on any other rim?

Thanks.

Hey,

First off welcome to the board. You came to the right section to ask your questions.

So there are a few things that need to be answered to help you out.

1. How much you want to invest into the wheels.
2. Is there a style you are after
3. What are you looking to gain from this pure looks or looks and performance.

There are alot of great 19" options that will work on the car, we just need to see what you are after.

Let me know If I can help you out.

Best,

Paul A.
