It's not ruined haha. Every single person here that lives in a climate with normal temperatures has seen those kind of IATs, everything is fine.

I get my charge air temp from my AP3.

Or just buy an intercooler so you won't even have to think about them.

I'm worried about voiding factory warranty. the rush intake is easy to replace with the stock intake if anything ever happens, but intercooler is a pain in the ass.

Understandable.

Enjoy the ride, that's most important.

would a ford dealership be able to detect a tune if you revert back to the stock tune?

I think in one of the tuning threads someone said SCT devices leave like breadcrumbs behind and the Cobb AP doesn't.

So I would need a device to get the charge temp?
There's no real need for you to get charge air temps at this time. It's pretty well known how the charge air temps with the stock intercooler correlate to intake air temp and boost.

I would say though, that there does seem to be something wrong with your CAI based on the temps you are seeing. I don't see temps as high as yours even in the 95 degree Texas heat. I would check everything again especially:
-- make sure that the temperature sensor is seated securely in the CAI
-- make sure that the intake is solidly connected to the turbo inlet. Try to pull the intake off the turbo inlet - you should not be able to if it's connected and clamped securely
-- make sure you connected the recirculation valve hose to the intake.
-- make sure that what Roush calls the dirty air inlet is seated properly to the hole behind the grille where the cold air comes in
-- make sure the air box is sealing well to the hood. Try smearing something on the top of the rubber bulb seal, then close and open the hood and see if the substance was transferred to the hood. Not sure exactly what to use for this, maybe some chalk, or a smear of Vasoline (you could even mix some talc or baby powder with the Vasoline to make it easier to see) - anything that can be cleaned off easily after

Same could be said for your post. It was a joke. Relax tighty whitey
Yeah, that's the way I took it - you were either a jerk :D , or joking. I took it to be a joke, although it wasn't until later when the OP said his heart stopped when he read your post that I realized that someone who doesn't work with cars much might take it as truth.

I checked all the things you have listed a few hours ago and i went for another drive after the post. The temps were 105-115 F degrees while idle for roughly about 10 minutes, 95-105 F on a red light, and 66-90 F while driving. Ambient Temp was 54F

Those temps are much nicer.
