You want a GT Base 6A with the spoiler delete option and possibly the 3.55 dif.

The GT base includes all EB standard features (except what is improved), just like the EB has all V6 standard features (except what is improved).

Many people on here have the 3.55's with their DD. They said they really make the difference in the Auto Transmission.

I used to think I was a purist and would only drive MT. Until I bought a Mercedes with paddle shifters. Now I drive only AT - and shift with the paddles. SLK 32 AMG, CL600 and E55 AMG. Now I will drive a 2015 Mustang GT Premium - with AT. But I am disappointed that PP is not available with AT. So I will add all the suspension parts (strut tower, brace, etc.) after market.

You can get the PP with automatic if you find an available Limited Edition GT. :headbonk::headbonk::headbonk:

IMHO GT premium, 3/15, auto, spoiler delete, Magnetic, foundry, nav...best combo of thrift and fun.

I don't know. The moment you put in the 4000 premium it throws the thrift out the window. You can get the exact same performance (actually the base would be faster because of weight) with a base GT. You can even add leather seats later like I did. Better leather seats than Ford will ever make. I got my base GT with auto and 3.55s for $31,000 after x plan and rebates. Hell of a bargain. So cheap that I dont even slightly wish I got the premium. At all. And after I got my Katzkins, I wouldnt take a premium if you offered me a swap :-) Tuscany is awesome.

Good point. At this point in my life I'm more inclined to do factory leather, heated seats, etc. I did go back and forth on the base or premium question alot...and for me...right now...it's worth it. I did bale on the Performance Pack which at first I thought I had to have. I added all the suspension upgrades to my MX5 that I wanted and enjoyed the process. I'm not autocrossing like I used to so I can pick and choose what performance I want...when I want...if ever.

It's nice to keep a major league performance true Grand Tour under 40k with some luxury on board. While we can.
