I have a 2015 6 (3.55, Auto) that I love and recently it has been upgraded with OEM leather and it looks even better.

Yes, I have a thought. You have a new car that you love. Enjoy the hell out of it for at least 5 years before you even think about trading it. That is a life skill that pays off big time in the long run.

I guess I'll be the minority... I'd go for the 2013 GT. Yes the new car is more advanced, but that 2013 as you describe it would be a beautiful ride also - and you'd have some V8 rumble to adjust with a new exhaust - something a V6 really can't compare to no matter what you put on it.

And with just a CAI and tune, that auto GT could be damn quick. I had a friend who had a 2011 Coyote coupe and all he did was a CAI and Brenspeed tune. With some sticky tires he was in the high 11's.

Plus you have the Brembos... You could do some casual track days (those that allow convertibles) and some Auto X and not worry about toasting the binders.

Your 2015 V6 is a nice car for sure, but if it were me, I'd do the 2013 GT.

I've had a couple 2012's and I loved them.

I'd keep the V6 S550, save up for a year or two, then buy a used '15 or '16 S550 GT. Best of both worlds. Or just keep the V6 until the, likely signifcant, mid-cycle refresh on the S550 and at that point upgrade to the GT. I bet Coyote is going to get a huge boost in the midcycle.

Also the "gotta be a v8" people don't know jack about cars or progression in technology. The same people will have a v8 manual in 2050 when twin turbo v6s are dominant

Don't do the trade OP. The IRS in the S550 is so superior to the older Mustangs, it really makes for a fine driving/riding car. I traded in a fully modded 2013GT Premium convertible for the 2015 Cyclone convertible and I am only missing the sound of the Coyote a bit. But the V-6 vert handles so well with the IRS and lighter front end, I hardly miss all the horsepower of the GT. I'll find a better exhaust system for that great little Cyclone motor...then it will "fit" me perfectly.

Hi All

I need some advice and maybe you can help since you probably know more about Mustangs than I do.

I have a 2015 6 (3.55, Auto) that I love and recently it has been upgraded with OEM leather and it looks even better.

I have the possibility to trade my car for a loaded 2013 GT premium convertible with Brembos, navigation, 14.5k miles ... plus some cash (not too much) and in overall is a good deal.

Should I?
The problem is that I see it parked everyday on my way home... Hopefully they can sell it soon...

Especially considering that:

+ I'm the only owner of my V6
+ 2015 looks much more advanced in many senses (i.e. rear suspension, keyless, etc...)

Any Thoughts??

Good God, don't do it... keep the V6 and be happy. Trade it a many years from now on a new GT.

I'm sure the V8 was owned by a little old lady and all as well.... very slow miles for sure.
