I went with Roush because of how easy it was. The dealer did the install and gave me a very reasonable price for everything included. I wouldn't hesitate to go Whipple or VMP either. I wanted to drive the car home with the blower on it and have the dealer install it.

Was yours installed by a ford/roush dealer? What do you do for gauges? I've seen some. Guys have it added to their lcd display between their tac and speedo
I have an auto, no extra gauges. Don't really see the need for more than what that center display already has. Again, if you intend to race, then that changes the picture :D

^^^ This was what I wanted & what I ended up buying (from the same dealer as it turns out). Could not locate a local Ford dealer that was installing any of the other products & I wanted it all from 1 place, that had a reputation for backing their work and the cars they were building. Didn't want any BS finger pointing if an issue came up.

So far, it's been a good experience. I did have an issue with the driveline vibration thing. Ford immediately pointed to my Steeda stuff & tried to beg off. Elder techs went out of their way to prove it was a bad driveshaft & got them to pay for everything under warranty (inc. a loaner for the week they had my car).

Some want to make the most possible HP for the least $$ etc., but for me, having my car repaired without a lot of BS or dragging it around to multiple shops is more important.

Only if you want to go really fast :headbang:. Their Stage 3 kit on a Ken Bjonnes tune is a guaranteed 10 sec 130+ car on 11psi/pump gas. There are not many other kits that are a sure thing right out of the box.
Do you know if the vmp needs the cutting also? Only reason I ask is because they seem to have a higher hp window.

Grinding? Yes, vmp kit requires some grinding on the block. Higher hp window? The 79mm/11psi pulley will usually make 625-650whp with headers/93octane, not the highest hp blower on the market but it matches up well with the 6r80 and flat out performs.

I mean. Compared with the roush . I also like the torque compared with Whipple.
