I went to NC AutoExpo on Sunday and got to see the 2015 in person. I think I drooled on it a little. There was also lime green 2014 GT/CS convertible parked next to the 2015. I got to compare them about side by side. The 2015 sure seems lower and wider than the 2014. I love it!! I still need to drive one before I commit, but I may have 2 Fords on the drive way come fall. Headlights and rear diffuser? Those are simple cosmetic fixes. I'm more interested in the chasis and suspension! I have a feeling that the 2015 is going to be a home run.

It's a little lower and the side skirts appear to make it wider. The rear is for sure by a little.

I was referring specifically to the Diffuser and Headlights on This Particular Race Red GT that we've seen at several events, when I say I Hate them. I Love the Two Tone, Black and Painted Diffuser we've seen on every other 2015, as well as the Projector/HID Headlights with the chrome trim and LED Gills. I have no doubt that the Handling, Suspension, Power and Performance of the 2015 are going to be World Class considering Ford's Benchmarks. I for one, can't wait to get behind the wheel of a Eco-Boost 4 with the Performance Pack.

I hope this big April surprise isn't a huge letdown. I can already picture them announcing the 2015 is integrated with facebook or something like that........I want huge news like a new model, a huge HP jump for GT or something of that nature.....

Quick question, Thed: when looking at the F150 it has a decidedly greenish tint. I originally thought it was the guard color but when I asked the Ford rep, he said it was magnetic. What did you think of the color song it in person?

Seeing how I'm planning to order in advance of the cars actually landing on lots, I guess I'm really going to have to see a chip chart on these colors. I thought the F-150 was "guard" as well. That is some mighty green-looking "magnetic". I hope it is just the combination of lights and digital cameras that is shifting the color. Also, red car on red carpet; eh…not so good. Auto balance on the camera probably couldn't handle the saturation.

Thanks for the pics, though! This week's fix of new material anyway.:coolphotos:

Haha Knowing how shitty Ford's marketting department can be, I can totally see them doing something like that too. Instagram and Facebook integration! LOL :ford:

I thought I remember reading somewhere that a HUD may be on the '15. Has there been any confirmation of this or did you see any indication of this?

Yeah. That would kinda piss me off also. It's bad enough that MS is writing the code for the Entertainment/Info system, but to combine that with Facebook? Ack! I can see it now: selfies [man, I can't believe that is word of the year:rant: ] of everyone's car crash!

I've never driven anything with a HUD. Anyone have any experience with one? Are they very useful or just eye candy?

I have driven a C6 Corvette, they have the HUD in them. It is quite nice to actually have the Engine RPM and MPH there on the windshield displayed just above the hood. It isnt distracting at all and is very useful for watching your speed in a rocket such as a vette. It helps in keeping your eyes on the road, taking away the need to periodically look down between the steering wheel to get your speed.

There are only 2 things I really Hate about this Car, number one being that Horrible Fully Painted rear Bumper/Diffuser, and number two are those Horrible Headlights (the 4 lamp Halogen's). The rear bumper/diffuser just looks so out of place, especially with the more agressive front splitter on this car and the black side sills. As for the Headlights, I Hate the Oval shape of the Silver Painted looking Surround of the outboard lights and I Really Dislike the "Arrowhead" shaped reflectors mounted in that same Silver Painted looking surround. Thank God this is car is The Only Example We've actually seen of both of these issues.
You know what? I don't even care that people are pointing out their little complaints about the car anymore. I'm just glad you didn't try to compare it to your Accord....

I see what you're saying... I'll probably get a Black Mustang, so paint and diffuser will match! I didn't know there were different headlights on the mustangs.. they all look projector/xenon to me. I'll probably get a V8. I mean, even my Passat has 8 cylinders.

I'm hoping for some remote control functions via smart phones. Stuff like remote start montioring, window and sunroof operation, HVAC operation, tire pressure...

Could just be the fluorescent lights giving it a greenesh tint. I would actually want to see a car in guard or magnetic before signing on the dotted line.
