This is awesome news. I've been seeing a lot of different part numbers on eBay. I'm guessing if the last section of letters start with an "E", that means its the premium version.

Any tricky parts? or its just a simple removal like installing a new 8 inch screen?
I noticed you installed a touch screen, is that the tomtop?
No, just use a simple plastic trim tool to remove the trim pieces, and 7 mm socket. I can send you the workshop manual to remove it just pm your cell or email. And the screen was actually a raxiom unit.

Awesome guys! Glad it is working out! Now that the clusters are easily available through ebay this should become a popular swap. We just need to figure out a easy way to modify the odometer of the new cluster.

Looks like the MT versions are rare, and more expensive. Not really sure of the part number, but I'm assuming those with an "E" in the last set of numbers are premium versions.

Maybe unsolder that chip Ayama showed, and solder it onto the new board? That could be a risk someone might take. Otherwise just look for a cluster that has more miles than your current cluster, and swap it when you get up to the premium clusters mileage.

Just a thought, I wouldnt list this as a feature when the time comes to sell the car...unless mileage is certified...for obvious reasons.

To the guys that have successfully done the swap, mind sharing some part numbers?

The one I linked on my previous post is probably a premium cluster. Mileage is kinda high though at 12k....

Already tried that haha, the chip unfortunately has the mileage and MyColor feature stored in it - so you could swap the chips for the mileage but you must reprogram it to show MyColor

Damn, thanks for the info. Well, it looks like I'll go the route of trying to find one with greater than 3k miles and swap it when the mileage is close.

For the MT guys who are looking to upgrade the cluster, as Zack said you can get an AT cluster and:
1. Get it programmed to disable the shift lights.
2. Swap the center layout which has P R N D S with your blank one.

I haven't followed this whole thread. What did you have to buy to get it to work? You have a base interior Mustang? Looks great!
