Yep and I prefer 18 from every angle, including front.

My 15 was same, magnetic, custom pack and this 18 I simply prefer it, better looking and more aggressive styling. :)
Agree (but I would say that)

Have to agree with you as well, I did not like the 18 front end in photos, but when I saw it in person it looked bloody stunning, so much better than the 15, a lot more aggressive look to it

Sorry to say but all those 18 haters...
Hate's too strong a word ;)
There's loads to love about the new car, but sufficient left over to make me totally comfortable with not changing, not least the cost to change.
It's a beautiful package though so congrats to the very few current owners and to all those impatiently waiting!

Yes, too strong to say 'hater' either way; unless you don't like Mustangs.

MY18 looks great. So does my 2016; and it's my Mustang. Not everyone wants a more aggressive looking car.

Sorry to say but all those 18 haters, seeing this UK car, it looks fucking way better than my 15 did when I collected that.
Sorry fella, but you are writing that like your opinion is gospel and that its something we should all accept and bow down too.

Everyone has an opinion, but I think sometimes you have the idea that your opinion is fact.

The 16 is nice. The 18 is different. Better in some areas and worse in others IMO.

People get too wound up about it on here. At the end of the day they are all Mustangs.

To state you prefer a 16 over an 18 does not make you a 'hater'.

To state you prefer an 18 over a 16 does not make you a 'fanboi' or similar.

A few people need to wind their necks in a bit.:amen:

the more I see it the more I dislike it enough that I cancelled my order for one in the states and have ordered an f150 instead. (I move to the states in a couple of months)

I guess you're getting one then Gibbo  As for me both have good bits and bad, I don't like the front end of the 18 when you get down low and look at the front, looks very flat to me, and at least with the 15 it has an hood worth popping. I've just brought another 15 after I sold my last one a year ago, plan was to upgrade to an 18 but the jump in price was to great, yes you get extra bits, running day lights, hood vents, extra power but then is this the reason I really want a mustang? No. For me it's the V8 and the sound and the 15 offers that and at a good price at the mo.

Let's all save judgement on the 18 till we see one in the flesh! I agree from the photos, front on the 18 looks somewhat droopy but that might just be the photograph. Although from the side it looks good in the photos.

As you say, you have to see it in flesh, it looks totally different to the photos :headbang:

Maybe too strong a wording or did everyone forget that just a couple of months ago the hate the for 18, catfish, droopy, down syndrome, mondeo looking, don't look like a Mustang. To me that translates as quite a bit of hating.

I also remember when S550 was first announced, not here in UK section but in the US sections even the S550 got a similar amount of hate.

The funny thing is how so many people change their tone once they see one and then even more funny that people buy them.

The moment Ford announced / leaked images of the S550, I wanted it, absolutely stunning car and easily recognisable as a Mustang, then when S550.2 came I generally really like it, I was a touch unsure on that front-end mainly due to Ford's poor renders and marketing, as owners got their cars and after seeing one in the flesh I was like, oh my the really did a great job on S550.2

I have a love for American cars, V8 cars and have owned two Mustangs and will own a 3rd, it might be an S550.2 or an S550.3 or whatever comes in the future. :)

Sorry you feel like that, I simply write what is on my mind, I don't think its gospel and the guys here who know me and met me in person will know that to be the case. :)

I like all Mustangs, since the first to whatever the last might bring, I've being fortunate enough to own a Saleen S197 and an S550.1 GT, there shall be a 3rd.

Also when people are saying down syndrome, catfish, mondeo, droopy to me that comes across as hating, unless its from the characters I know in which case then its more a case of banter, but its just a repeat, every time Ford pretty much announce a face lift or new generation it gets slammed, hated or moaned with just a small few liking it, but with time most end up going out and buying one. :D

It would be very boring in here if everyone liked the same things. I personally prefer the upgrades made to the 2018 and am glad I waited. The extra kit that is there from day 1 means it requires less modification out the box for me which is what I want.
There has been a lot of hate about for the facelift and that has at times put me off posting as some people seem to repeat their opinions on several threads. I think we should all just agree to buy what we want & can afford.

I prefer the 18 overall but if I already had a 15-17 then I would be happy and not changing

How many of us are waiting for a MY18 Convertible?

I ordered mine on 6th December 2017. I got the VIN a couple of weeks ago, but still no window sticker or any idea when it is likely to be built.
