MY18 when do you expect delivery?

Lightning Blue is being discontinued, so you only a have about a week or so before order books close on 18’s as it’s not going to be available for 19’s

There must be a chance that the MY18 will never actually appear on Ford's UK configurator given that order books in the US will close in preparation for MY 19. Could make MY18s really rare since only those in the know have ordered.

Yep, you're probably right - it will be MY19s by the time it's live.

I think that might be the case myself. Although it is uncertain about the UK compared to say Germany and the US (postings on both) it should be the case that the MY19 affect us as well. It wouldn't make sense and would balls up their production if we started ordering discontinued colours after 12 March. I think Ford UK will just change the online brochure to MY19 and activate the configurator for 19 but when March/April? Doubt it will be much of a change, just colours and maybe the B & O sound system. Uncertain about the Bullitt MY19

As you say I think 18’s are going to be rare and even more so in the three colours they are retiring Crimson Red, Lightning Blue and Triple Yellow, I think Crimson could be the rarest as you would of had to order it sight unseen

oh yeah, nice find :clap2: Coast2Coast are keeping an eye on any change for me with their dealer over the next few weeks and they tell me their configurator will be updated as soon as there are any changes

If the posting about MY19 applies to us, today is the cut off date for MY18 Lightning Blue but there is no mans land until the 12th

Finally got her home today,first impression clutch and gearbox feels so much better.Magnaride feels positive with no bouncy or floaty feeling,yet to play with it all.
First drama though,going up detling hill was foggy and misty,put wipers on for the first time and the wiper blade came off of the arm.
Luckily it got wedged between the bonnet and screen.
Pulled over and clipped it fully home.(good start)
I noticed the screen does have a small ford badge,but the seats look like they are as previous(i thought the new ones had a slight zig zag pattern)Dealer confirmed mine is only 1 of 3 in the country.I didn't go pass 4000 revs and put about 50 miles on it.Good to be back in the GT

Apart from the spring bottom housings it looks like its completely covered.
