MY18 when do you expect delivery?

It's the same on my Window sticker. I also ordered CP4, but the window sticker states black alloys. I spoke to the dealer about it and he said to wait ands see what turns up... I will get the wheels I want.

Thank Jim. The dealer just emailed me back to basically say they've NEVER had an order built incorrectly by Ford and his paperwork all looks correct. I just need to calm down a bit

they may not have; but there's been numerous reports of people getting custom packs when they didn't want it etc. :lol:

Got a link. I didn't order a custom pack but it'd be nice if they gave me one out of the carelessness- I mean kindness, of their hearts. ;)

It'd take some digging, but we've had guys order "all options" and end up with custom pack wheels / trim or a combination of both.
There was a chap who ordered an ebony interior and got the white interior
Another chap ordered climate controlled seats and didn't get them
Someone else got the wrong colour on their order.


It's well within the "Norm" for ford to fuckuo; this is usually when a non ford store put the deal through with a ford dealer and brokered the deal as a middleman usually.

According to the brochure the custom packs include "Ebony partial leather wrapped centre-console"

Just saw this.
The centre console is leather wrapped along the knee bolster area up to and including the area around the gearstick. The area between this and the rear storage compartment , including the cup holders is black plastic.
Critically the lid of the storage compartment is bound in soft leather which is perfect as it's where my left elbow rests the majority of the time.
Only had limited time in a pre 2018 so can't comment on other trim apart from saying that where I rest my right arm at the top of the door card is well padded in my 2018.

Looks like the MY18 production schedule has been extended a while longer, I see on Facebook Aaron’s Mustang has a build date of week commencing 12th June, which was when MY19 are supposed to start

From my understanding, there has been no indication of it (PP2) coming to the UK. I’m sure it would have been confirmed by now if it was.

However, wheels and spoiler... I don't see why not

Doubtful, the front wheel poke could even be an MOT failure here.

I'd buy an MY18, then buy separately the PP2 front splitter as its a lovely splitter and works very well on 18.

Then just get some nice custom offset forged wheels, GT 350 springs and GT 350 rear wing, pretty much job done then mate.

Or why not go the real cool route if you can put up with LHD and buy a used low miles GT 350 from US as they are around $50,000 with stock now outweighing demand and introduction of MY18. After import fee's, VAT etc. you'd probably manage it for about 50k sterling now the pound is stronger, might even have some change left over.


PP2 are a gorgeous looking car out the box though, I'd definitely have to dial in a touch more negative camber though on front to stop that poke.

It was that Royal Crimson one that did it for me Gibbo! Looks very tasty but on reflection a GT350 still edges it for me in any colour. I missed out on the black one in Spain sadly. Maybe get a bit more use out of mine this year and go for a GT350 import as I don't mind LHD.

If you don't mind LHD and manual, get the GT350, you have no excuse. ;)

Or wait for GT500 as that could be an export model too. ;)
