Dealers trade in price for my GT with corsa exaust and suspension coilovers was pathetic.Laughable considering they have an steeda modded ecoboost up for over 30k.
I've been penalised for being modded apparently.
Well I've got a month to sell it so its ebay or auto trader.

Can you not put it back to stock and sell your mods separately? Bit of work but you’ll probably make more money

Remove the exhaust as it’s the easiest thing to do, and the easiest to sell.
Have a word with traders too, I found selling mine very difficult. One call to RS direct and had a collection arranged for 3 days time and a simple process. Mine was lowered with spacers and had stripes, that was it. Obviously won’t get as much as you would selling privately but at least it’s gone! Had mine up for sale for over 3 months. Good luck!

To be fair the dealer is plan B
As i tried to explain to them, the coilovers are a million times better than stock suspension, they are more concerned about warranty on them.Ive got all my stock parts but i haven't got the facilities to swop over and i won't pay out again for someone to do it.I think they are using any excuse for the low trade in and even if i had the Ford shocks back on it wouldn't up it that much. Can you imagine if i had a supercharger fitted lol.

Mine (Eastleigh) had no problem with my mods as long as I had the originals which I did, handed car over with all the originals in the boot...... Very easy.

They offered me 28k 2 months ago and I laughed at that. 23k is insulting!

Considering they not only sell exausts and lowering springs but fit them, and then try to underate my car because of it.
I felt like pulling the plug on my order!

    Typical stealer BS...

Dealer buying a car: “Mmm well it’s modded you see, no one will want to buy a modified car, it’s a sign the owner has driven it hard and thrashed it...It .knocks loads of value off the car compared to a standard one”

Dealer selling car: “You want this one mate, it’s got loads of tasteful mods over standard, would cost you a fortune to have it done yourself, Oh and just listen to the exhaust..... modified suspension too, far better handling than stock, and a sure sign that the previous owner coveted this car and treated it like his baby...

    So true Andy
They made me feel like my car had been bodged, yet it drives ten times better than from the factory.
To be honest I'm really angry about it to the point i dont want to give them 43k.

I’d be the same.....in fact as a matter of principle I’d happily cut my nose off to spite my face, and tell them to stick it:D:D

If you add 1FA6P8 to the front of your 11 characters it should work (assuming its a Fastback Ecoboost).

If not, ask Manders he is the expert on this sort of stuff.

As an experiment I had a look at the Window stickers of the cars with VIN numbers just before and after mine. Mine ends in a 3 and is due to be built 11/1. The car ending in a 2 is a UK GT, Orange, A10 with Magneride. The car ending in 4 is a UK GT, Yellow, A10 but cheaped out with no Magneride. Both are due to be built 8/11.

Try an N instead of the C, it seems to work for our RHD UK cars, ie. 1FA6P8N
