Hi there

OK everyone was pissed about not having DRL's on MY15-17 and most were annoyed with clear and lack of sequentials.

So vote!

I'm the last one.

Legally, unless the UK change their ruling, rear sequentials are NEVER happening over here.

I'll explain (In short):
Indicators can legally only go over 'two lights' maximum. Audi get theirs as it's 'One light' bar - an LED strip counts as one bar.
Ford it's 3 lights, separated. Therefore indicating on a singular sequence (One after the other, so on and so forth). If Ford would get it agreed, the rear lights would need to be a full rehaul in which they look the same, however the lighting behind is 1 LED strip made to 'work' as 3, using blackouts etc.

By the way, if the rear lights are LEDs, and are easily accessible, for instance you can replace them easily (which you can't on the MY15-17), then you can replace all 6 bulbs with switchbacks (red and amber) bulbs, fit a sequencer and you should be able to self mod (One for you to look at gib)

How many more threads are coming lmao?!

!
Absolutely agree on the sequentials. It sucks, but they're not quite the deal breaker for me.

The red rear tails though......those are already LEDs on the '15-'17, just not sure of the type of bulb. They almost appear as one solid light (x3). I don't think I've even ever seen a photo of one opened up (off to Google it now!)

I think white rears are fine; sequential doesn't bother me; the fronts I'd like but would it be a deal breaker? Meh.. there are more important things!

Not bothered about sequential rear lights and I like the clear UK spec rear lenses, but the tri-bar LEDs would be nice - they don't have to be DRL's, just come on with the DRL's or sides (so they're on all the time). There doesn't seem to be a voting option for that combination? ;)

They're LED bulbs, however, you can't open the light up to get them out, I was more thinking if the light COULD be opened, or it was like a headlight (or the rest of the lights for that matter) you could just drop a different bulb in there, whack a sequencer and you're laughing...

Yep did notice it looks like DRL's have the bits to be working and the rear lights are new design but will remain clear.

Hopefully though electronics are same so enable sequential will be easier. :)

Yep! :)

There could be hope!

Shame not better interior shots to see if there was an exhaust and suspension toggle switch or button somewhere. :D

It looked like an EB to me from the badge and single exhaust, but not the grille.

edit: now I can see the pics on a computer the pipes go 2 into 1 at the end. weird.

Those ends are not stock, they will be so they can hook up emission equipment easily for testing on road. :)

This is also a great sign of us having the new engine, otherwise they'd not need to re-test emissions if they were still using the last generation Coyote.

Engine's probably the one thing I'd hedge my money on that we'd get !
