I put it together this weekend with the help of my dad. It all went pretty smooth. I had to go out of town for xmas before I got my tune, so it hasn't been fired yet, but it's ready to go for when I get home :cheers:

Anyone else who has the closed airbox, did you have a hard time getting the filter in there? It's a really tight squeeze

I've got the prep work done for my install. The upper manifold is off awaiting the shipment of my Whipple kit from Leathalperformance.

Question what did you do with the 4 pigtail plugs that were plugged into the back of the stock intake manifold. They are called IMRC solenoid and IMRC position sensor. The online instructions from Leathalperformance don't mention if they get reconnected to the Whipple manifold.

yes the filter was tight for me as well, I was almost positive the filter was to big for the enclosed box.

The Whipple instructions will tell you what to do with them, some just get covered up with tape.

Same here, I had to loosen the airbox to get the filter in. I wonder what's the best way to get it out to wash it later
