I prefer the stock wheels, but it does look classy and clean.
It definitely feels more like a Cougar than a Mustang when looking at both back to back. It's really wild how it changes.
I'm old school and love chrome but just doesn't seem right for me.
Not a big fan of dark or black wheels but they seem to work better with your red. Bottom line....you have to like them and you never know until you try something new. Give them time to grow on you! It looks like the company did a beautiful job.
They indeed did a smashing job on these. The work is impeccable! I love me some chrome as well hence the chance I took, but man you're right, there's just something that ain't right.
I love chrome, but I'm also older than dirt!
Haha I'm getting up there and love Chrome too, just something looks outta place.

Heres the link to their listing for the Platinums. Also, I sent you a PM.
I am a 90's child. Chrome and brushed aluminum will always look better than black.
Same deal here, which is why I did it! Perhaps I need a few days to get used to it, it's just so jarringly different. Thanks!

Alright everyone - my grand idea and vision in my head may not have necessarily played out. They're here, ceramic coated, and gorgeous... Though it's such a drastic departure from what aggressiveness and anger the car had previously - now it's just more calm, classy, and we'll - I kinda feel underwhelmed.

They're the factory Ford 10.5/11 HP wheels, sent to California for some chrome, with that PS4S's (which are amazing by the way over the PSC2's).

They're fantastic, beautiful, bright, perfect condition, just... I'm not sure this is what I was looking for. Though here they are.

Please let me know what you think. I may be switching back sooner than I had anticipated. Maybe they'll grow on me. Maybe they won't. I have a set of the Platinum finished ones too sitting in boxes. Shit at this point maybe black would have been the ticket?

Maybe the factory color is the way to go. Never know unless we try, right?

I like them, personally I would chrome the Front Pony and maybe the Mach 1 badge to balance it out a little more...

Thank you! My wife just saw it and she likes it better - so there's that lol.

That's what my wife said as well, maybe find something else to do some matchy-matchy with. Not sure I'll go that far, but it's a thought!

Maybe add the chrome pieces around the windows to tie in the wheels?

Your car is great but I m not a fan of chrome. Maybe polished aluminum would have been a toned down better look IMO. I had the same choices when I changed my M1 wheels. I wanted to get away from black (too common) and considered the options.
I went with a grey type 350 wheel.
I think maybe the aggressive look of the car with all the stripes makes for too much bling with chrome. Too many finishes and colors IMO.
It s really just opinions. I struggled long and hard too with my wheel choices.
You can alway refinish them because they are good wheels.

I will always prefer chrome wheels over black wheels regardless of the car. Yours looks good, just looks a little busy if that makes sense. Give it some time to let it marinate as you have indicated. Beautiful car.

For your Red Mach 1, I liked the original better. I'm not as much of a chrome guy though. Particularly with red or any lighter color.

However I bet it would look BADASS on a black Mach 1 or GT because contrast.
Pretty sure you could find a buyer if need be.

Sorry OP, no like; they cheapen the appearance. The stock wheel color looks great on your car. Just my opinion; no hurt feelings intended. :like:

They look ok, but not as good as original color, IMO.
