It took me about 22 hours of wrenching, but I finished the install of my Whipple Stage 1 supercharger.

it’s not a very difficult install, but there are many steps and I take my time working on my Mach.
The kit is very well put together and the machining work on the supercharger is outstanding.

instructions are somewhat confusing at times.

I am running the Whipple tune via HP RTD and the tune is spot on.

since I live in central Florida, I upgraded to the HD heat exchanger.

Very nice! I often think about it. Ford dealer wants $16,000 for the install. BTW, do you know how many pounds it adds to the car?

I’d estimate around 70lbs.

that’s insane installed price.

Nice install! Are you planning on any track or drag use? What size SC pulley are you starting out with?

I did the same on my 22GT. Did the stage 1 kit but I swapped out the 4" pulley for a griptec 3.875" pulley. What a difference that made. WOW. Then I ran my kit with a wengerd tune and e20/93 blend and was able to go 10.20@137 with a drag radial only. Its been an awesome setup. Im looking for a fuel system now and to get the stage 2 TB and elbow. But the whipple kit on these cars is sick. If you have E near you, do an e20 blend and the car will be super happy vs straight 93.
