Hello everyone! I recently sold my 2017 F80 M3 and acquired this beautiful machine. A little context, I wanted a sportier car that had two doors since we have a family SUV that does hauler duties. So it didn't quite make sense to keep the M3. Nevertheless it was a wonderful car that did the dual duty work quite well. It took me 4 months to find this car. I was cross shopping it with a M2C at the time. But what won me over to the Shelby was the driver engagement and of course the highlight of the car. The Voodoo motor which produces 527 horses at a 8,250 rpm!!! Nothing in the current BMW M lineup, with exception to the E92 M3, comes close to this much theatre. The issue I had with the M2C is the nerfed S55 engine and it's super bouncy ride. My M3 had better damping and it was on M Performance coil overs. It didn't help the fact that the M2C was a pretty heavy car despite it’s ideal form factor.
I used to track my M3 at Thunderhill a lot and it has never given me a headache and looking forward to doing the same thing with my GT350. Glad to be a part of the community!
