So after a near relationship destroying incident the other week when the misses spilt some chocolate sprinkles in the boot I decided something had to be done... other than getting a new girl friend that is...

I want one of those, not willing to pay 85 quid though! Tried to get one cheaper by going through the GM at my local dealer (who I've known for years) no joy

The carpeting in the boot is really cheap & the piece over where the spare wheel would be is rubbish. It doesn't even fit properly.

Bought from my local UK dealer (not the dealer I got the car from) but the parcel itself had come from the US

I know, it's shocking. You definitely need something in the boot, just to keep this out-of-sight-out-of-mind. Even if its a piece of spare carpet or roll of rubber sheet, cut to size.

The crappy cable tidy where the cables are fed to the bootlid is a bit of an embarrassment as well. Wonder if this can be 'beautified' in some way?

Think I'll get one of these or similar with the rubber mat on top of that.

This was my first upgrade, too. Still love it, makes me stress less when I have to transport liquids.

I've got a 'universal' after market one off ebay for about £7. Looks the same but haven't checked if it fits yet - looks shorter than the CJ one but might stretch? Will let you know.

Update: Fits perfect. Not sure why I wanted a random net in the boot to get in the way of putting may case in and out mind you!
