Gorgeous pictures. That red is amazing with the wheels you selected.

cdc outlaw wing and thanks guys. if the people around you are charging a lot, try getting a regular paint correction detail with no sealant applied and do the cquartz yourself. it's not too hard to work with

Looks nice! I had CQuartz UK on one of my cars before. Wasn't entirely impressed, and it only has a 2 year durability ( only, ha ha ). It doesn't have a very high solids % content, so the mar/swirl resistance isn't terrific. I usually kept mine up once a month with a good sealant to maintain the hydrophobic properties. Plus I think UK is only applied with 1 coat, which isn't very thick. Cquartz Finest is their "premier" product.

Right now my Lexus has Ceramic PRO 9h, 4 layers of it. Lifetime warranty.

I think my Stang will also get this treatment. Ceramic Pro 9h , 4 layers, plus 1 layer of light. Wheels, lights, paint, windshield.

Runs about $1500 around here for correction/ coating on a "new prep" car...which does require paint correction no matter what.

This can be done by you average detail enthusiast, cquartz UK can be purchased at several online stores also. I'm putting 22ple on my car in 2 weeks. Just a note, the darker the color the better the results. Try cquartz dlux on your trim, it actually is more impressive than their ceramic coating.

I think im going to purchase myself and try it out on my wheels, glass and exhaust tips if the doesnt interact with the heat.

I know this needs prep work on the body paint, but does anyone know what would need to be done to painted or unpainted wheels and glass before using cquarts on them?

Yes! Wash the wheels. Get a bottle of IRON X, by Carpro! Start with that. Spray them down, let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse off. I'd even grab a clay bar and do what you can. Then wipe it down with IPA, or some isopropyl alchohol to remove any oils/polymers. Then coat.

so in other words wash the wheels really really really good. ill probably clay bar it because brake dust will be all over that after the 2 hour drive home ill have from the dealer.

how about glass and metal? same procedure?

Get IRON X. Read up on it. This will solve brake dust issues, or any ferrous material. It's used on the entire car prior to paint correction, so its perfect for wheels also. It dissolves ANY ferrous material.
