It doesn't matter that much to me

Haha I just need to make sure other people can get the abbreviation when it is installed in the vehicle without a guide!

This render shows the font change in order for it to be printed on shapeways. Not as good as before but this one should work!

Lol, OCD much?

I did that on purpose to see how long it would take someone to tweak. [emoji16][emoji16]

Sub'd. I'm also engineer and love seeing Additive Manufacturing (3D part fab) opening up doors like this to satisfy consumer demand at the micro-level. Oh, and really nice CAD skilz there OP.

I see you are far along with prospective supplier. If looking for alternative check out Stratasys.com. They are evolving their business model to be a "virtual factory" and seamless integration into their shop floor equipment.

They do SLS, SLA, FDM. They are expanding into metal powder SLS.

Love your initiative. I have a base GT so count me in for future buyer. :)

Thanks!

Mechanical engineer? Aerospace?

I have looked into them as well! Shapeways seemed to be the all around best option in terms of price and the ability to directly list my models for sale on their marketplace. That alone takes a lot of hassle out of trying to sell these things. The key is wether or not I will be happy with their quality/print accuracy.

I hope to have a full production toggle on my doorstep by the end of next week! From there I can evaluate it and make sure printing both the toggle and base together is feasible. With the SLS process this should be no issue at all but we shall see.
