My BAMA tune experience.

Looks like you left out a lot of important details in your original post.

1. You were happy with your original tune.

2. You changed parts.

3. You got a boost leak. Bama noted to you that you have a boost leak like you said in the first post.

4. They were trying to work with you and remotely diagnosis your issue which is difficult.

I think they handled the situation the best they could. Ultimately it wasn't a tuning issue, it was a hardware issue on your end which they had nothing to do with. You didn't want to think the problem was a boost leak and were just blaming them that their tune was bad. Unleashed told you the same thing and then you took their advice. I think this is a very unfair post to discredit the tuning abilities of bama once all the facts of both sides are aired out.

I was happy because I thought the tune work. I realized many people get the same time and number on stock. Like I said, I was hype by the word "tune" and not pay attention to how my ride is actually running. The boost leak they said was not base on fact. It was a guess. Unleashed gave me a proper term for the problem and so I can narrow down where to look not just "there maybe a leak somewhere." I called in explained my situations and I got no call back. What is the point of a call back system and not using it? emails take a day or 2 to answer.

Again I had great response with Bama they followed up with phone calls all the time, I got my tunes same day, they were specific when they diagnosed my leak, told me exactly. I have attached proof of the email and fact how amazing they were. Look at next post

Not taking smack jungle I would say this to anyone, if your going to put a companies reputation down and say how bad they are, post the facts because people read these things and take it to heart. I'm not saying this in your case but how many disgruntled customers can make stuff up or make is seem like the company is the issue and not you.

I just find it hard to believe I would be treated so special...... I'm just another customer, why would I be getting all the good service and tunes? Just a thought, but again I had the opposite experience with the other company and I have proof how it was handled, I save every email and communication.

The original post should read something like this:

Bama gave me a great tune. I changed out some parts and may have messed something up on my end. I noticed later that I was making less power than I first had when I put their tune on initially. They suggested I have a boost leak. I was a little frustrated because they took a day or 2 to respond to my issue.

The only thing you can bash them on is their "day or 2" response time like you said yourself, which is not bad turn around in my opinion. But instead you made it sound like their tunes suck in the original post and literally said STAY AWAY FROM BAMA. Not cool, especially since you were happy with the original tune before your boost leak.

Not to mention you gave them an impossible task to figure out. You gave them FALSE information. You said you checked everything and you were sure you didn't have a boost leak. No wonder it took them so long to diagnosis, they were probably so confused by the information you gave them and working hard to find out how your tune was reacting the way it was when you told them you made sure there was no boost leaks in the begining of the the whole thing.

I think you may be forgetting that Livernois had the very first Mustang Ecoboost that ran 11s all the way back in November 2014

Livernois went 11.81 with a tune, tires, unhooked catback and passenger seat removed all the way back then, so I'm sure they would be deep into the 11s now especially with an upgraded turbo

You are correct but good luck getting that tune from livernois since they will not give that out to anybody! I was referring to the other tuners mentioned that 1 out of the have ran in the 11's and also stating that only 2 companies with tunes that are available to the public have ran into the 11's one being lund who does my tuning and the other is Adams company.

How do u like lund? This guy at my shop just bought a dyno machine and he works with Lund and I was thinking about getting my car actually tuned on a machine next time instead of all this email and datalogging, not that I'm unhappy

I liked things that lund does as far as tranny tuning at no extra charge and the no need to use the paddle shifters like some others feel are necessary. I also like the differences in tuning styles Jon does over my last tuner. I also like the way the ngauge operates over the cobb and data logging and sending I feel is much easier then the cobb as well.

The power feels very nice and pulls very nice threw the entire rpm band and the shifts are firm and strong but not obnoxious.
