Not trying to be a negative Nancy, but the factory tune isn't just pulling power for fun. It's pulling it because it's either sensed a knock condition or high IAT, or something else...

tricking the ECU to ignore that isn't necessarily a good thing.
That's not the way Bama Performance tunes. They will make sure that knock sensors and overboost control are fully functional in their aftermarket tunes when they need to be for safety and engine longevity. Bama Performance calibrators all use most of the factory logic when they build their powerful aftermarket tunes and don't just "strip everything out" like someone with the racer-mentality would. They're all about building clean and sophisticated powerful custom tunes.

How about some 5.0 tuning

Pretty sure if you blow up your motor, a tune (except Ford Track Key possibly) is going to void that warranty. Just some food for thought.

Pretty good numbers though, especially for the torque (which is more important to me than big horse numbers because torque is what gets you moving).

I doubt Bama will blow these engines, with all forged internals and a die cast block you would really have to have a terrible tune to blow this kind of engine. They will do some quality assurance I'm sure to ensure this tune doesn't damage the engine.

This is definitely true. The Bama Performance team is spending countless hours on the dyno, at the track and on the street. They even are using their two different kinds of dynos in order to dial this car in. Check out a little bit more about how Bama tunes:

I've done my own tuning on my GM products, so I don't really know that much about Ford tuners.

This is good info to know! Thanks!

What are the chances of a tune that increases torque down low (where I spend most of the time driving), but keeps Ford's 4000+ RPM safety measures?

These numbers are from bone stock cars?

If we get other mods (catless dp, intake, intercooler) how much do you think these numbers could improve?

Generally speaking on boosted vehicles, torque down low (below 2100-2500 RPM depending on the engine) is a rod breaker. It puts an amazing amount of load on the rods down low.

Not that low! When I say down low, I'm talking around 2500ish to 3000. Thanks for the response.
