Wifey went to move the Mustang and it wouldn't start.
Acted like it had a little water in the injectors when it finally did start.

I tried to put some 'gas dryer' in the fuel tank.
All it did was run out all over the car when I put the bottle nozzle in the fuel hole..

What gives????????

Why do you think water is in the fuel? Did you use the plastic fuel funnel that came with the car to put the fluid in the gas tank?

Just the way it was actin'.
It wouldn't take gas; just missed.
The gas dryer bottle had a spout on it.

With fords capless fueling system, there is a trap door that is open to the ground to keep water and other liquids from getting into the tank. When you use the special funnel that comes with the car it trips the lever that closes the trap door and opens the other one that allows the fuel or other additive to go into the tank. That funnel just happens to be the same diameter and length as the nozzle on the gas pumps BTW. When you try to put an additive or fuel up from a gas can with out that special funnel you're literally just dumping it right on the ground.

I want to know HOW you know what water in the injectors acts like? Ive had water in the tank on a motorcycle and that was ruff and I knew where it came from (Gas station that told me right after I fueled), but in a car?

Calm down.

I don't know, just guessin'.
Car ran fine AFTER I came home from the service.
I drove it to my mom's a day later and it ran fine.

Then, three days later it won't start and when it did, it rough idles and dies.

Something wrong, wouldn't you say?
The day I had the service done I bought gas where I usually don't buy gas............:headbang:
