So yesterday I got in my car and pushed the start button and pressed the brake (I have an auto) and the gauges started flashing like crazy and the car wouldn't start. I tried starting it a couple more times and same thing happened. I though it might be my FOB key so I got my second one and it didn't work even after I stuck it in the cup holder.

Eventually the dash wouldn't light anymore, the brake got hard, and the car doesn't lock. I don't think it's the battery because when I press the start button the outside lights turn and stay on. I already disconnected the battery for 25 minutes and it did nothing.

Any ideas what could be wrong? The only thing I've done to the car is an exhaust and exterior mods.

Sounds like battery is drained.

I'll try jump starting it tomorrow. I didn't have the cables to do it today.

What ended up being the issue? I'm thinking Battery.

It was the battery. It got replaced under warranty so no big deal.
