As long as the car is serviced by a qualified mechanic, using the right parts, no issue.what about warranty issues of not going to ford dealer in the warranty perios
Amen to that!As long as the car is serviced by a qualified mechanic, using the right parts, no issue.
I had the Ford dealer do my oil at the 3000km free "service" (not my choice of words).
They forgot to tighten the screw that holds the flap in place below the oil filter and didn't reset the oil life monitor...
Other than that, they were fine but I won't go back there ever again unless for warranty claim.
I'm in the same boat. I was of the understanding that if you went with Ford servicing then you got free NRMA membership for a further year (up to 3 yrs from purchase) as well as a free map upgrade. This is about $260 worth all up. I think the service is about $450. I will have to see them this week to book as I need a new puddle light to be installed during the service.Hi guys,
Due for the 1 year service next this month and am wondering, if you take it to a ford dealer service centre, which one do you recommend in Sydney?
Thanks
Nick
