Mustang Owner Question #2

I've been from San Antonio to Austin once, and daily commute 26 miles a day to and from work. I have right around 500 miles on the odo, and have had the car for just over a week. I saw my first s550 in the wild yesterday going to work. It was a Race Red Gt. They seem to be very rare down here in south Texas.

I live in San Antonio and Iv seen 4. All when driving mine

The only one I've seen in the wild was a Triple Yellow GT blasting down the highway right outside the Flatrock plant the week production started. What a thrill that was! Since then though I've yet to see one on the road. Plenty in dealers but none on the street.

For now I'm enjoying the fact that I'm driving a car that hardly anyone else has yet.

Funny this thread came up. I (being 16) actually noticed a Competition Orange v6 leaving my school, saw a student driving it, and sure enough saw him again at the gym that night. Told him I drive a race red ecoboost, and told him next time I saw him, I would park next to him. 2 days later, i show up at the gym, and when i go out to leave, he is parked right next to me! This past saturday, I was heading out to go to dinner, and I im sitting at the entrance to my neighborhood trying to enter the main road, when a black 2015 ecoboost pulls in, and she stops, we both roll down our window, and have a conversation. Turns out she lives in my neighborhood, just got her car, and she and I both have manuals. It was both fun and weird having a conversation in the entrance to a neighborhood.

Anyway, just thought i would share my experiences!

pretty cool, sounds like everyone in that high school drives an S550.

I've only seen other 15s at the dealerships, none in the wild so far. I'd like for it to stay that way, but I know there will be LOTS come springtime.

There are 2 GT's in the parking lot where I work one compitition Orange Auto and one Black manual.. both premium neither with the PP..

I'm in Las Vegas. I picked mine up Oct 18th. I have yet to see another 2015 Mustang on the road. I saw 2 at a dealership about two weeks ago. Those were the first ones I've seen besides my car. I have 2200 miles on it and still not another 2015 pony on the road in sight.

I saw a red with twin dark grey Leman's stripes last week. Had dealer paper tags. A good looking blonde girl was behind the wheel. And yes I looked at the car too.

I have seen two; one about a month ago and one last week. Both within one mile of my house...not sure how I feel about this :shrug:

When I was in Orlando November 7th thru the 14th I rented a Premium EB from Budget. I was the 1st to rent it and when I looked the VIN up on cotus it was supposedly delivered 11/07 ... the day I picked it up.

While down there, I only saw THREE others.

1st was as we were walking to the Budget area (different rental company).

Drove to Daytona Beach one day and saw no. 2 ... a Black GT sitting at the exit of the Daytona (track) parking lot.

Saw the 3rd one in Disney driving on the road at Disney Marketplace.

When we got back home, my wife and I saw a Yellow 50th An GT on Sunday the 16th. Caught up to it and it had a Broadway Ford (Green Bay WI) dealer sticker on it. A week or so later my brother-in-law asked if I had seen it yet and he thinks it is someone that lives in our town ... I have not seen it since, so guessing it is now put away for the winter.

I'm down just north of Chicago every week (Skokie / Northbrook) for 3 days and have yet to see one in the wild anywhere down there or anywhere between there and my home in N-E Wisconsin !!

So I've seen a total of FOUR in the wild ... FIVE if you count the one I rented.

I drive 75 miles each way on my commute and I've seen at least 8 different cars, but have had about 20 sightings total. Some may have been the same person so I try to look at the driver when I can to see if it's someone I've seen before.

There have been a lot of these cars delivered in the Bay Area already.

I see at least one other 15 Mustang every day but I'm in Dearborn so it's to be expected.

I've had my car for two weeks now and I've only seen one other 2015 on the road (before or after getting my car). Weekend before last I was in the left-hand turn lane on the main road through my town when I hear a horn honk behind me. I look over to see another '15 GT drive past. Didn''t get a good look at it. The local dealership has only had a handful of '15s (I live in a relatively small town). They had a GT manual back in October that sold after a few days, then had a blue Ecoboost a few weeks ago that sold a few days after I got my car. They have a Ruby Red GT with the 18" foundry wheels out front now which has been there for almost a week, I think.

I've only seen 1 in a parking lot at work; He's also the person who convinced me to order one back in June.

Saw 2 while in my 15 both were on my way to work. Took me a week from getting my car to seeing another in the wild.
