Back to the reason for looking at the split is to try and see if the GT/Eco blend affects the wait times expected for each variant. Of course it could have no bearing whatsoever.

Code:
Recent ships

               GT / Eco (%)
Tarago 67 / 33
Parsifal 80 / 20
Tijuca 63 / 37
Tamberlane 6 / 94
Interstingly only 8 GT are on Tamberlane that just departed.
I kinda knew that it was wishful thinking for my GT to be on Tamerlane but from the stats above it is kinda depressing for GT to-be owners. Less than 10??

Where's the "unthanks"/"unlike" buttons when you need them?
Sounds horrible... Which state?

Frankston in Victoria. Poor bugger, the car had the custom plates on, detailed and ready to pickup in the showroom. The manager told the news the owner had waited 12 months. I felt for them.

If there is any silver lining, it's better happening this way rather than after having signed for and taken delivery.

Hopefully the dealer will call in some :ford: favours and attempt to source a replacement as quickly as possible.

Yeah Drewbo, I thought the same. Hopefully they can get em a car quick. It was a race red Eco FB.

Looking at the pics in another thread, the damage appears to be relatively minor.

It would take some significant incentives for the original customer to accept delivery after the inevitable repair, though.

It has no doubt been flogged, so god knows what condition the engine is in.

Someone will end up owning it.

I was just going to suggest what are the chances it will be a repair job. Be a hard sell to accept it as a new car.

Even if that can happen it only means some poor schmuck down the line is copping it without lube or foreplay.

Could be the dealer demo?
Most have EB as their demos.

it had custom plates on, so I don't think so. Hopefully it can be replaced with another EB soon (any dealer's stock maybe?)

If it were me, I'd take delivery on it. What's the alternative - wait another year? It's got the full warranty, so I don't see what the big deal would be. Maybe I'd get the dealer to throw in another 2-3 years warranty on top of that, or a few free services, but not much more they could do, really. Also, when you sell it, it's not like the next owner will have any idea of it's history.

By the way, could someone please update the spreadsheet? It hasn't been updated since August 8th.
