I am interested in the 2019-2020 Mustang Bullitt.
Looking at what's for sale I've noticed an unusually high percentage of cars with multiple
owners that have very low mileage, even more so than what I see for the GT's out there.
Can anyone opine why this is so?

The Bullitt usually catches the eye of an older crowd (well at least not the 19-mid 20's). Therefore it's usually a weekender or occasional car. Sometimes other cars catch their eye and they move on. Sometimes they get tired of it just sitting in the garage all the time.

I have mine for sale and I am the second owner. If not for my upcoming back surgery I would not be parting with it. The first owner bit off more then he could chew and trading it back in to the same dealer he bought it from about a year of ownership (or less, can't remember for sure).

I'm in the Dallas area if interested.

I'm in Houston, but appreciate the offer. There are a couple close, but I am hoping to find one with Magnaride at a decent price, if that is possible.

Mine has Magneride, the B&O sound system and priced at $39K OBO. They're out there. You'll find one, good luck.

Mind if I ask the mileage? That sounds like a good price compared to what's around here.

A tad over 39K miles. It has some mods done to it but I have all of the stock parts which will go with or be re-installed and I will sell off the aftermarket goodies.

That sounds like a stellar deal, you should sell that quickly.
Good luck!

Welcome to the forums.

I did a pull on a Houston zip and range of 200 miles / 320 kms. I see what you're saying. The first four or five, I think the longest one owner had was for a year and a half. Many were two owner cars.

I've noticed this phenomenon on other Mustang marks as well. Some buy and intend to flip. Some take a bite of the apple and realize it wasn't what they wanted. The economy has been really good and interest rates had been really cheap; this has probably facilitated a few buying/driving/selling for yet another muscle-type car. With still others, Life happens.

With any model, my primary concern would be how broken in and how driven when they did have it. Unfortunately, from dealer-to-dealer, this won't be known.

If you do find something of interest, you're welcome to post it here, so it can be viewed by several for their feedback. Sometimes still better deals are discovered. With other ads, tells emerge highlighting something not quite right. Many eventually find something just right.

Again, welcome. :like:

Had mine 4.5 years. Love it. Never will be sold. To my eye is the cleanest and classiest looking ‘Stang. Nearly every reviewer who tested one when they were released had the same opinion.
Can't tell you how many Utube Bullitt videos I've seen, and everybody seems to love them, that's why I couldn't understand seeing several that had 3 owners and less than 20k miles.
One explanation I got was that some folks got in over their heads with insurance and payments.
At least there doesn't seem to be any inherent flaws that would sour one on ownership.

I was the second owner of a Mach 1 manual, car had <1,000 miles. I put 1,600 miles on it and sold it in six weeks because I discovered that I didn't want a manual.

I saw a Mach 1 for sale that had 2 owners and less than 10K miles. The first owner sold it for $8K more than he bought it. Similar to what someone else already said, the used car shortage made it really easy to get out of their car loans.

Depends. Reviewing Carfax will sometimes show that there was a problem with the car (engine removed for repair; engine replaced, electrical system checked 3x) and people got tired of dealing with a problem then someone else bought the car and then sold it due to the ongoing issues. Or, like me, bounced around from car to car trying to find just the right one (I went Mustang GT to a Charger Scat Pack then to a Mach 1 and wouldn't trade the Mach for anything). It's possible too that people have unexpected changes in life and need to sell the car for one that can fit a child car seat. If you find a Bullitt that you like give it a thorough inspection, test drive it really well, and have a mechanic check it out.
